I think you can enable logging for openrouter if you want to? But by default, I believe it does not. It depends on what model you select and spend API creds against. I pay for an API key from openrouter which lets me then select any model I wanna use... so I could use GPT 5 or Clade Opus 7 and then my API calls would be logged by OpenAI and Anthropic respectively. However, z.ai and the <5 version models affiliated with venice.ai are supposedly private? Now, I could be wrong but my understanding is that z.ai glm 4/4.7 coupled with an openrouter API run on my local server with OpenClaw is about as good as you can get running the newer models and trying to stay local and private. However I am admittedly a rookie in the space lol and always learning. I know I can just use llama and run 100% local but you specifically said "frontier" models.

@TwhitNub101 Correct me if I'm wrong, but openrouter isn't "local". It's an API.... So you're sending your data to openrouter. I guess that's better than Google?
