Once all the coins are mined, the longer term setup is that the miners will make money based on txn fees - whether or not it gets that far is still TBD of course. Adoption is needed for its success. Time will tell.

so hypothetically... what if $TAO just goes from $200 to $2000 in a few months with no real dips? and then it corrects to $1000 and everyone ignores it because they "already missed it" and then like 6-12 months from now Open AI or Anthropic IPO at $500b+ and then everyone realizes $TAO is still only 10-20b and it reprices to over $10,000 and then everyone misses that run too because "there was no good entry" in this hypothetical situation, how much do you regret your life decisions?

Something people rarely factor in when picking a swap platform: what's the actual security standard behind it? most DeFi protocols run on self-reported audits and nothing else. no external validation, no verifiable standard. @1inch got ISO 27001 certified last year. same information security standard traditional financial institutions are held to. they also got SOC 2 Type 1 on top of that. that's not common in DeFi at all. and everything is still fully self-custody. your keys stay on your device, 1inch never touches your funds. so even if something went wrong on their end, your assets aren't theirs to lose. not many protocols can say the same.

@KasMI353 TAO is mostly used inside the Bittensor network. You can stake it, run miners or validators to earn rewards, or support AI subnets. It’s not really for spending — it’s more about being part of decentralized AI.
