Anthony Gordon's agent Gordon Stipic-Wipfler was in Munich last week for talks with FC Bayern. Concrete figures have been discussed. Newcastle are demanding around €86m as things stand. I know they don’t have a scanner pitch side to see if there’s ligament damage, but you should know the signs as an expert as to when a player has to come off, even as a precaution.
We saw the same thing with Kulu Bentancur and Dragusin doing squat jumps after they could barely stand up.
We now have 11 players out injured; it’s certainly no coincidence the club hierarchy,recruitment team, and medical team have failed us, handicapping any chance of progression, leaving us on the brink of relegation.
