Truman bombed the single most Christian city in Japan to try and make the Japanese surrender their Emperor, who we ended up letting them keep anyway. MacArthur, Nimitz, Leahy, and Henry Arnold (head of the Army Air Force), all said the bombings were unnecessary and/or barbarous.

It's not pronounce the same, not spelled the same, and doesn't mean the same thing.
Hamas - חמאס - pronounced Khamas
Ha Ma As - המעש - pronounced HaMa as (with a pause between ma and as)
The ה at the beginning just means "the", so מעש can be separated.
The same cannot be said about חמאס
If you're gonna make wild claims based on word structure alone, then at least do it in a language that you understand.
