You illegally conquered the Sinai and built a large settlemenr there to annex it. You refused to give it up until Egypt and Syria attacked your forces in occupied territory. Not a single country in the world at the time objected, because everyone knew you stole it and that they were taking back what was rightfully theirs. Your own example perfectly illustrates the expansionist nature of your colonial enterprise.
Hamas Atrocities@HamasAtrocities

In Israel, we are such a diabolical expansionist and colonialist country, that in 1978 we gave up two thirds of our territory to have peace with Egypt

If only we had recordings of what the Arabs intended to do to the Jews in the lead up to the 1967 Six Day War - maybe THAT would shut @mehdirhasan up. Oh wait ... we do have that ... they wanted to slaughter all of the Jews and throw their bodies into the Sea.
Captain Allen@CptAllenHistory

Yes Mehdi, let's talk about the obviously defensive war Israel fought in 1967 to save itself from total annihilation 🙄 He thinks we're all stupid.

As usual, even when hiding behind that keyboard, you're so efficiently ignorant. The Arabs in Palestine declared a war of extermination on the Yishuv the first day partition was accepted at the general assembly. For months before a single Arab city or village was taken by the Haghana numerous Jewish settlements and villages were ethnically cleansed or had their population flee or face death - not a single Jew remained alive in territories occupied by Arabs from Palestine or neighboring Arab states during that war. Fact remains, displacement of Arabs during the war occurred only months after the Arabs trying to starve to death over 100,000 Jews in Jerusalem, displacing thousands of Jews who had to flee to purely Jewish areas to escape getting attacked and murdered. Travelling in armed convoys was the only way to travel since your precious Arab Palestinians were using the high ground all across the Tel-Aviv Jerusalem highway to snipe at any Jews traveling via transportation. You ignore simple historical facts, that's why you hide behind that keyboard and run away when ever you're challenged. And still, you suck at it.

Wanna see an aviation irony? Here's an F-4 Phantom in Egyptian colours. The same jet that once haunted Egypt ended up serving it for over 40 years. In fact, it didn’t just join the fleet - it was acquired to replace the Soviet MiGs it had fought in those very same skies. Now that’s double irony!

@RealAirPower1 Incorrect. Read about al Mansoura battle. Egypt won it largely due to its air defenses along with its air force, which employed tactics that forced the Israelis into close combat (the Phantom's weakness) and deprived them of their long-range strike capability (their strength).
