@VDOOZER Thank you for bringing the show back. It was such a huge inspiration for me to pursue medicine when I felt stuck. Can’t tell you how cool it is to now get to watch brand new episodes as an attending.

@TageForHart @TheMayorofFF I was just shocked how many people hopped on Twitter to criticize THIS call specifically. He’s there way too early, played the receiver first then the ball, and the contact was substantial.

@TheMayorofFF @TageForHart What are we doing? He wasn't just making a play on the ball. His left arm was wrapped around the receiver and the right arm impeded his left arm from making a catch. Ball came down into Shakirs chest and they both had hands on it. Ripped it away from him on the ground.

@TageForHart 1. “Contact” isn’t automatic PI. This was mild and doesn’t usually get called. He didn’t grab or impede 2. He absolutely did turn his head around 3. He was making a play on the ball and came down with it

All that shit Bills fans were talking this week about Drake Maye and those “overrated” Patriots meant nothing. Now sit the fuck down and enjoy this broom stick to ass. After all you are sado masochist’s. You love pain.

@TweetStemkowski There isn’t anything to call out. First, defender doesn’t need to touch him at all when he’s sliding. Second, if they do it doesn’t need to be anywhere near his head. If you think the helmet tap wasn’t intentional I don’t know what to tell you. It’s gamesmanship on both sides.

@BuffaloBills @AtwalEyeCare This is awesome! Is there a link to nominate someone for the service member of the game? My father in law is a retired Airforce Chief Master Sgt and NYS Trooper.

@EM_RESUS It was Spondylolysis and I’m not mad about it. “Lil Spondy” goes kind of hard.

Really proud of my research team on this one. Our Prehabilitation for Spine Surgery: A Scoping Review was a top 10 most cited paper among those published in 2023. More work on the way! 🔗 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36730164/

What a smug answer! The level of arrogance is unbelievable. There’s zero respect for the country, the office, the people or the support. Kudos to the reporter @brianglenntv for asking the question.

@hubermanlab If you had a single 30 second add, and can’t use the add to just drive someone to more in depth content, what health habit and piece of evidence would you focus on?

Bills Mafia shows their support for the team in all sorts of ways, and for one fan it's by going the distance. Brian Goldsmith carried out his traditional 17-mile run on Sunday from North Buffalo to Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park. See the full story: trib.al/VzNSfFp

@DrJN_SportsMed @JayKarriMD Test the 3 hypothesized generators. If you’re leaning towards a true radic do a TFESI/SNRB, Intradiscal for referred discogenic, or a LSB for sympathetically mediated. Not necessarily in that order.

Patient with 3 months of left-sided pain in L3 distribution but w/o motor/sensory deficits. MRI shows an L3/4 disc herniation...that is anterior, with no central canal, lateral recess, or foraminal compromise. I encounter this once a year. Thoughts and insights? @DrJN_SportsMed

@JayKarriMD @DrJN_SportsMed That’s possible. I would lean that way if they have symptoms of sympathetically mediated pain similar to a causalgia but we know that’s not always the case. I think a couple diagnostic blocks will give you a ton of insight.

@mefarrellii @DrJN_SportsMed That’s a great point as well! In this case, the pain is radicular in nature and not overtly axial. Sclerotogenous pain is interesting, I’ve also considered some of this may be compromise to lumbar sympathetics?
