I simply mentioned making WOW F2P because they are splitting content they sold as a major expansion system to put it on the store, while in-game lack an equivalent content type, like those housing exterior options.

I said explicitly that none F2P MMOs is like WOW, but they exist and if they ship the same amount of content is not my point. Maybe you lack text interpretation or are just ignoring my argument about their store strategy.

At the moment it doesn’t exist inside the game in the way they are launching in the store, and that’s unfair considering the way they sold the housing system.

@SamTallen67 @NrezCrypto @BellularGaming It could go F2P. There’s others MMOs F2P in the market that survive entirely with MTX, none with 20+ years live, but they exist. But this isn’t my point. Like I said, I don’t mind with the store, as long as we have equivalent content in-game, since we are paying monthly for it.

@Atolanos It has NO exterior other than the standards that everyone has access to. I don’t mind them selling stuff on store, but do it after delivering the full service. Housing was a great addition to WOW, but putting “aesthetics” stuff on store before and in-game after is predatory.

Everyone freaking out about the $75 price tag but its 60 items, making each item including the exteriors $1.25. I'm not saying I agree with the model... but that really not awful in terms of asset pricing in a shop. Predatory in nature to get you to buy the bundle yes, it is.

@SkjaegArt That’s the point! The problem is not the price or the exterior itself. The problem is that doesn’t exist inside the game any type of customization like that. All exteriors are the standards ones that everyone has.

The price is insane but that aside, I don't think selling house exteriors on the shop is okay at this point, not when there are so few options for exteriors to begin with. If all the races had gotten exteriors then maybe, but right now it's just gross

@Atolanos All exteriors in the game right now are the standards ones that everyone has. They could still launch it at the same way they did, but inside the game, at least, should be a type of achiev idk for we to get a voidstom themed exterior or something like that.

We have to buy expansion, pay subscription and still need to buy an item on the store that costs more than a AAA game to get the better slice of the content we already paid for.

This is why I was against any housing stuff on the cash shop. The difference between the paid exteriors and the rest of them is frankly absurd. They are withholding the more appealing housing options behind a paywall. Welcome to paid F2P housing.

@NrezCrypto @BellularGaming I agree with you that wow would benefit from having NFTs, but if they were sold ongoing in the store with unlimited supply, its value would be basically zero. The best practice would be implement NFTs through super rare in-game content that could only sell through blizz marketp.
