A Pseudomonas putida from a CF patient had increased growth with increasing TMP-SMX. We subcultured the bacteria around the E-test strip and found a subpopulation of TMP-SMX dependent colonies! 🤯😵 I found one article describing this (PMC7879151). But have you ever seen this?

bosR, and other regulators found through this screening approach, can be potential new targets for biofilm specific therapies. Congratulations Melanie and co-authors @micbmoe @bkdhillon @Cara_Haney @minisciencegirl 🎉🎉🎉
