@stevemagness Obviously it's a case by case thing, but the Internet runs on hyperbole. I doubt people are actually offended about the stuff that they complain about on here, a lot of the time. But who knows- there's no shortage of thin-skinned whackos out there!

Part of the reason why this occurs: 1. We tie our identity to performance. 2. Social media exacerbates the identity threat. We become the dog guarding our territory. It happens to all of us. It's why we need to go touch grass. The real world turns down the alarm.

In the past few days, I've had people get offended that I... -said a 2:46 marathon wasn't elite but a serious amateur. -called 9+ minute pace jogging. -recommended that people don't need to carry a water bottle on shorter runs. Social media makes us hyper reactive to everything.

My coaching clients who prefer a low carbohydrate diet typically target around 100-150g per day, but don’t just rinse and repeat. We will flex up on days with moderate-high intensity sessions (ex. speed work day, easy day, speed work day, easy day - 200-250, 50-100, 200-250, 50-100).

@josephcook89 Two thoughts: 1. Allowing for a sub but not allowing some sort of reasonable time for a snap is not a good thing. Shouldn't be room in the rules for that to be a possible outcome. 2. Sark's answer during halftime infield interview was absolutely perfect.

If you do not have your substitutions in proper order and are late, the opposing team can make a one-man sub and take as long as possible because the rule states teams must have the opportunity to match offensive subs. That's not anything on the refs, it's good gamesmanship. Cost points.

Wins and losses aside, Sark has grown on me more than just about anyone that I can remember in CFB in general in my lifetime. Dude is genuinely great.
