@IKE_Packers Watch the second half loss to the Bears in the playoffs.
English

@dpdraz @paulsaladinomd In the meantime, if interested, consider checking out the naturalistic fallacy. It is what Paul typically leverages and hopes people like yourself will not dig beyond it. You are doing a fine job of proving him correct on that business strategy.
English

@dpdraz @paulsaladinomd Let me know when ready to address it. Take care.
English

I have not tried either yet, but if at a store, I'd probably go with the David bar if these were my two choices.
Paul Saladino, MD@paulsaladinomd
Which would you choose?
English

@dpdraz @paulsaladinomd Then this should be an easy dunk for you. Let's here it.

@dpdraz @paulsaladinomd What’s your argument for artificial, whatever that means, being inherently worse in the context of the above post? Context being a one off purchase between those two products?
English

@zbitter @paulsaladinomd are you 5 years old you don’t know what artificial means? you are not serious
English

I was betting on Nike or Puma with maybe Adidas. Brooks makes sense to me the more I think about it though. Clayton seems to be into content creation and sharing his journey. Brooks is a good set up for someone who is interested in things outside of pure performance based contracts. IMO, they now have a shoe that can competes, which may have got them through the door to be considered. This is all just speculation on my part though.
English

@zbitter This surprised me. Very few of the top marathon athletes are wearing Brooks these days.
English

@dpdraz @paulsaladinomd I thought you’d at least try to defend your initial reply. I guess thats my fault for assuming a faceless anon account has formed a position in the first place.
English

@andrewict @J_Turnbow I doubt he is signing what I imagine to be a multi year deal based on what is currently available.
English

@zbitter @J_Turnbow Would be surprising considering the general perception of their race day shoes is they are not top tier for roads.
English

@zbitter @paulsaladinomd oh now you wanna have a serious conversation rather than be snarky 🤣 I said one bar is worse for you which clearly the David one is worse for you… I will stand by that. what a great topic for your next podcast lol
English

In the context of the post, what is the problem you see the goes so far as being worse than retarded? Are you afraid of the ingredients in that product or simply don’t know it has a better protein profile? I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn’t fall for the naturalistic fallacy.
English

@dpdraz @paulsaladinomd What’s your argument for artificial, whatever that means, being inherently worse in the context of the above post? Context being a one off purchase between those two products?
English

@zbitter @paulsaladinomd I regularly eat artificial crap but you’re not willing to admit one is better than the other in terms of ingredients lol
English

@paulsaladinomd @zbitter you gotta be such a fucking loser to willingly and knowingly choose the bar that is worse for you
English

I won't need them. I have a highly trained digestive system. It will make quick easy work of those ingredients. Paul seems to be on the JV squad of gut fitness. I am a full blown big league digester. Probably will end up in the digesting hall of fame one day.
Paul Saladino, MD@paulsaladinomd
@zbitter make sure you also get the incontinence briefs for the oily spotting.
English

I could grant that Paul means well. It isn't impossible that is true, and likely that people find success with his approach. At the same time I can believe that his approach is a net negative if his advocacy requires enough viable alternatives to be thought of as bad. It suffers the same way much of modern day online advocacy suffers. It creates a "them vs us" ideology where one doesn't need to be. It makes it much more difficult to simply accept an approach didn't work for an individual, and move onto one of the other viable options. It is emotional leverage that hurts the broader stated goal of better health for the highest number of people. It does this by introducing unnecessary conflict rather than letting the market decide based on successful outcomes. Paul isn't unique here. He is one of many doing this.
English

@zbitter @Camp4 @paulsaladinomd Fair enough. He definitely can do some clearly rage bait or instagram boosting posts but I do think he authentically does care and is trying to provide real answers for people about health.
English

@ORION_coaching @SteAssent I would have preferred the MJ of digestion tbh
English

@SteAssent @zbitter So, there’s a lot of flopping and bitching going on then.
English

Oh, no I’d pick it either way under the context of the original post. If I’m buying one of those two bars, it’s going to be because I am looking for protein, which I believe would be better from David. I generally think the claims around quality are overblown marketing gimmicks as well when a choice like this is a small input within an otherwise well formulated diet that meets the users lifestyle goals.
English

@zbitter @discolime_9 Okay so you are opposed to his methods? I can understand that, he's a little gimmicky, just like all the others. Is that the only reason you'd choose the David bar? Not the ingredients or quality? Is this like a tribal war going on with the "health and fitness bros"?
