The ultimate objective of the so called Occupied Territories Bill or the Prohibition on Goods Bill (the PIGS Bill) is to promote a Judenrein Palestinian State.
Its basic proposition is that no Jewish Israeli shd reside or work in Gaza/the West Bank or East Jerusalem. Amongst its many defects, it entirely ignores Jewish connectivity to & residence in East Jerusalem for thousands of years only interrupted between 1948 to 1967 when Jordan unlawfully occupied East Jerusalem & its Jewish population was driven out.
It is the Irish government directing Jewish people where they are permitted to live & work. It is difficult to fathom this level of ignorance, arrogance, prejudice & political stupidity. Not only is the Bill disconnected from reality, it will have no impact of any nature on conflict resolution.

“Second time.” You cannot be voluntarily kidnapped, and definitely not twice.
And being sent away a few hours after doesn’t meet the definition either. Kfir Bibas was kidnapped. Hersh Goldberg-Polin was kidnapped. You bought a ticket. They did not get to come back alive and write an op-ed.
