I liked Will's coming out scene, though I thought the crowd was unnecessarily large. I couldn't have imagined coming out in the 80s or 80s (I was much too young then, I came out in 2001) but thought the reception was plausible because all who were hugging him were super close friends. Contrast this with That 90s Show that was literally going for complete "nostalgic realism" of the 90s, that gay teen encountering ZERO issues with being gay... well I thought it certainly painted the 90s with rose colored glasses. I think it works for Will because it was his closest friends who knew him that he was talking to... and they do go for 80s nostalgia, Stranger Things doesn't shoot for realism across the board. I loved the action Winona's character got, definitely represented the love and defensiveness countless mothers have toward their offspring. Definitely some Mrs. Weasley vibes. Loved we had a clip of Barb in the finale. I felt it a bit "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" where we got like seven endings. It's nice to have closure for characters, but it would feel more natural to have wrapped up some of these closure moments into other episodes.

I just finished the @Stranger_Things finale. 🤯 My thoughts: 1. As expected, everyone moved on from Will coming out in episode 7. Coming to terms with his sexuality has been a part of the story since s1 e1 and the only people complaining were the ones who (A) forgot because they never rewatched any of the seasons. (B) Just wanted drama for views and not really fans of the show to begin with. (C) Are straight up homophobic and anything gay gets them angry. I hate woke as much as everyone else. This wasn’t woke and it was great to see the quick heart to heart with Mike and Will while climbing the tower. 2. The Mind Flayer coming to life was INSANE! I had a good feeling that was going to happen, the battle they gave us was nothing short of spectacular. 3. Joyce getting the final “f*ck you” on Vecna was BRUTAL. Combining the memories of pain with each swing of the axe was absolute cinema 🙏 4. HELLFIRE LIVES! Dustin’s sendoff was great and we had a nice full circle moment with Stacey. 5. Mrs. Wheelers scars are bad ass (nice to see Mr. Wheeler is ok too I guess…😬) HOWEVER… the quick comment Max made about “Mr. Wheeler feeling up Mrs. Wheeler” while in the highschool memory seemed like the most unbelievable thing to happen in the entire show. 🤣 6. This might hit different for those of us who are a bit older… but when graduating highschool, in that moment, you don’t realize that may be one of the final get togethers of the “entire crew”. So when they each put their D&D binders on the shelf, it symbolized the “last time” they might all play together and it was a special moment that hit home hard for me thinking back to my own graduation & group of friends. 7. Seeing a glimpse of the future for everyone as Mike was telling the final story was great. The Duffer Brothers gave us a way to stay connected with the characters beyond the finale allowing us to draw our own conclusions as to what the future holds. 8. Hopper proposing at Enzo’s was great. But made the feels for Bob the Brain come back. Still wish he didn’t die 😭 9. Nancy’s insane shoulder pads reminded me of my Mom as a kid, lol. The whole rooftop moment was a great way to button up how the “older kids” are going to stick together. 10. I was happy the end of the show focused mostly on the original crew. Which was something I know a lot of people were hoping for. Having Holly and her friends running to the basement to play D&D was all we really needed to see the cycle of friendship continue and button up their storyline. Overall I was really happy with the finale. All the “plot holes” like the ones in the post below can be explained away as just simple “off camera” moments. Not worth caring about. Some people are saying Will should have died…That makes no sense. He could “tap into” the hive mind, but hasn’t been “a part” of it like Vecna since the Mind Flayer left his body at the end of season 2. What an incredible 5 seasons. 🙏

People could complain they can't go down into the restaurants and use those fridges either, it'd make as much sense. If the hotel had to constantly deal with guests messing with the restaurant fridges they'd charge labor on that too.

@WallStreetApes @GuntherEagleman Rated the note as unhelpful... The fact that minibars existed before this video, is not the point. The point is, for the vast majority of the history of the minibar, they didn't CHARGE you for putting a personal item inside. That concept is relatively new...

This is why Vegas tourism will stay down American shows that in his Vegas hotel you can’t even use the mini fridge anymore. They have equipt it with sensors and if you put anything inside you’ll be charged $50 per day
