Mitra can now create apps and software as part of handling a phone call. When completing a task requires software, Mitra can build it and continue executing. This is an important step toward AI systems that can truly represent people.

Mitra now has its own web browser to do tasks. It can navigate websites, click through pages, fill out forms, check availability, compare options, and pull together research. Available now.

Mitra 2.9.11 is out. In this version, we are introducing Mitra Lite. It has the same capabilities as the standard Mitra version but can be 50–100x cheaper and 5–10x faster. For most consumer use cases, Mitra Lite should suffice. If you have complex memories or are using Mitra for heavy business operations, then we recommend the standard Mitra version. Calls and communications are auto-routed to the best system while falling back to the option you selected for that chat. You can customize this however you want via Memories.

What's the best AI personal assistant product out now? Looking for something that can call and book restaurant reservations, email for refunds, etc. - that's fully productized and easy to use

I get so many spam marketing calls that I just have my AI answer and auto-decline them all.

agents that just run email for you are the most underrated thing in your tool kit like the fact that I can cold email people and have an agent monitor the inbox constantly and respond and it just makes real world outcomes happen for go to market just absolutely crazy to me

Mitra 2.8 is now available! Mitra can now understand and speak all major languages, thanks to improvements in speech AI. Mitra can also play hold music and ambient background music. You can customize what audio it plays by sending Mitra an mp3 or wav url to play. Also new: better way of structuring memory updates (Mitra can create sub folders for memories), general intelligence improvements For pro/premier subscribers: Mitra’s proactiveness is more robust and generally makes better decisions.

Whoa this is uncanny… not sure how I feel about this yet, but I just subjected a real government worker to an ai phone call. It doesn’t look like he thought it was ai from the transcript, and my agent made multiple coherent follow-up questions.

7. Escalation. If Mitra messages you about a time-sensitive matter and you don’t respond in time, it will intelligently follow up and if it’s really urgent, it will call you to tell you.
