India auctions mines. But doesn’t mine them. As Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal points out, 85% of blocks auctioned in the last decade are still non-operational with just 82 of 592 have started production even while 50% of India’s import bill is for natural resources. The bottlenecks: Land acquisition gridlock, Endless clearances, Aggressive bidding making mines unviable

I understand Dhurandhar is a very successful movie and a lot of people are loving it, great .... but why are so many Twitter handles fighting for it as if it is some religious mission? Movie hai bhai, chill karo, itna kya sentimental? PS: Ranveer Singh is a 👌actor

@mitraphoenix After getting into Guinness Book of Records for the largest serving of Pakhala, we can certainly try for the biggest 'underage theatre entry kalesh' record.

@mitraphoenix Not just fighting for it. Try telling them that you didn't like the movie - suddenly you'd be anti-Hindu, anti-India, and God knows what. 😬 The worst part is this extreme polarization goes way beyond just this movie.

This is interesting. India Today seems to have lifted my #OpIndia article on Sheikh Hasina's warning over a US conspiracy to carve out a Christian nation with parts of Myanmar, Bangladesh, and India's northeast, and its connection with the recent arrest of Matthew VanDyke &Ukrainian mercenaries. It's almost a copy-paste. Still, it's good that we are influencing MSM narratives now.

Anu, every single festival, same recycled take. At this point, it’s just you refusing to understand how a diverse culture works. Bangalore doesn’t exist to perform festivals for you. Ugadi is mostly celebrated at home, not on the streets. Maybe stop expecting Instagram friendly version of celebration and start accepting that culture doesn’t need to be loud or visible to be real. And honestly, ‘I don’t see it, so it’s not happening’ says more about your limited lens or better step out of your bubble before questioning an entire city.. not everything revolves around what you manage to notice. Happy Ugadi!🍃
Anu@Escapeplace__

Anytime someone says that Bangalore doesn’t know how to celebrate festivals, people get offended saying it’s not their local festival. Well it’s Ugadi today, and I still don’t see any kind of celebration here. What’s your excuse now?

The man's B12 deficiency is the least of the problems here. The real cost is generational. When a B12-deficient mother carries and breastfeeds a child, the infant develops on a nutritionally depleted foundation. Indian studies have documented brain atrophy and developmental regression in breastfed infants of B12-deficient mothers, with some damage persisting even after treatment. On top of that, maternal protein intake during pregnancy directly shapes a child's neurodevelopment, growth trajectory, and cognitive capacity. 50 to 70% of pregnant Indian women are already B12 deficient, and most don't even know it. And then the kid grows up in the same household eating the same dal-roti-sabzi diet, inheriting not just the deficiency but the entire nutritional philosophy and the cycle compounds.
Radio Cobalamin@nob12deficiency

I strongly advise men to not marry vegetarian women. I know of cases where the man has ended up with severe vitamin B12 deficiency due to his wife's refusal to cook non-veg. You are risking a brain stroke, not to forget that these women are perpetually weak & tired due to low Hb.

A family that protects the problem becomes the problem. One person is the poison, and the whole family bends around them just to avoid the conflict. They destroy everything from the inside, and the rest call it peace. They call it loyalty. It's nothing but cowardice disguised as sacrifice.
