@jonfavs @ThirdWayTweet In this clip Hasan calls @jonlovett and a vast majority of the world’s Jews “Neo-Nazis.” If someone said most Muslims are Neo-Nazis you would not have them on your show and rightfully label them a bigot Looking forward to Hasan’s 7th appearance on your show though!

“In a totally just world, regardless of your background, any kind of fucking Zionist tendency should be treated in the same way as being a fucking rabid Neo-Nazi. And you shouldn’t even let someone be the fucking local dog catcher as Felix was posting if they’ve ever exhibited any sort of positive feelings about the state of Israel. I’m so serious about this.” - Hasan Piker Also Hasan has been on @jonfavs @jonlovett Crooked Media podcasts 6 times and they’ve never once challenged him on his vile anti-semitism

Every Thursday night before the war there were DJ parties at the C House Milano Resort in Gaza. Auschwitz also had fun DJ parties at its resort on Thursday nights! Such a great analogy to compare Gaza before the war to concentration camps-
happy@abjectbaby

When Norman said the hamas fighters were 20 year olds who were born and lived all their life locked inside a concentration camp, with the helpless rage of having their fathers and sisters occasionally disappeared, and oct 7 was the first time they ever stepped out of that camp..

There are two positions from which one can approach the Mahmoud Khalil situation. One is the civil liberties perspective, being concerned in a content-neutral way about free speech and due process. But Mamdani is the other—supportive of Khalil *because* of his particular views. And they are TERRIBLE views. Khalil was a student leader of an organization, the Columbia University Apartheid Divest, that unabashedly cheerleads and embraces Hamas' most violent acts. They referred to October 7th as a "heroic struggle." They published "A Tribute to Yahya Shinwar." They support "liberation by any means necessary, including armed resistance." October 7th was when Hamas, led by Shinwar, entered Israel and murdered as many unarmed civilians as they could find, face-to-face, with small arms. Khalil himself supports "armed resistance" and justifies or downplays Palestinian violence. He has forcefully defended calls to "Globalize the Intifada," and minimized that the Second Intifada was itself largely a campaign of suicide bombings against Israeli civilians. Offering the most milquetoast denunciation of killing civilians in an interview, he immediately pivoted to justifying 10/7. After all, Palestinians, in his words, need not be "perfect victims." But we have many reasons to believe Mamdani shares all these views. As a longtime activist who has accused Israel of being responsible for NYPD police violence, as himself a defender of the "Globalize the Intifada" phrase. As the husband of a woman who liked posts celebrating 10/7 on social media as it was happening. And now Mamdani hosts Khalil, not simply to defend his rights but to affirm, casually, the "genocide" slander again the Jewish State—it is simply deplorable, and unacceptable for the Mayor of New York.
Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani@NYCMayor

For Mahmoud Khalil, this past year has been marked by profound hardship—and by profound courage. A year ago, Mahmoud was walking home through our city after sharing an iftar with his wife Noor when he was detained by federal agents, flown to Louisiana, and then held in an ICE facility for months. In that time, he was forced to miss the birth of his first child. All of this for exercising his First Amendment rights in protesting the ongoing genocide in Palestine. And yet, even in the face of that cruelty, there has also been beauty. New Yorkers raising their voices in solidarity. A city refusing to look away. Mahmoud won his freedom, and a father was finally reunited with his child. Last night, as we marked the one year anniversary of his detention, Rama and I were honored to welcome Mahmoud, Noor, and their son Deen to Gracie Mansion to break our fast together. Mahmoud is a New Yorker, and he belongs in New York City.

The international community did everything possible to entrench Lebanon’s internal conflict and sustained suffering, all while pretending to help. Whenever you hear someone speak for the “international community,” they’re not trying to solve your problems. They’re trying to sidestep any real, sustainable solution while pretending to be doing it for your own good.

These headlines are astonishing. And it's worth asking why nothing like this emerged in 1990 or 1993 or 1996 or 2000 or 2005 or 2006? The answers tell us a lot about what's wrong with the way international community's approach to Arab-Israeli diplomacy is so fatally flawed. 1/8

Hasan has 6 appearances on Crooked media podcasts- 2 Pod Save, 2 Offline with Jon, 1 Runaway Country and 1 Lovett or Leave it. So Tommy is purposefully obfuscating how much air-time Hasan has actually got. When Hasan goes on these mainstream shows like Pod Save he tries to tone down his anti-semitic rhetoric but if you watch his streams he’s spewing blood libels 24/7. Pod Save guys have never challenged him on it! Tommy or Jon- next time you have Hasan on why don’t say “Just a warning to listeners our guest is openly pro-Hezbollah and pro-Hamas, and we here at Crooked don’t support those evil terrorists the way our guest does” Here’s one of Hasan’s many blood libels he’s spread- “In a totally just world, regardless of your background, any kind of fucking Zionist tendency should be treated in the same way as being a fucking rabid Neo Nazi. And you shouldn’t even let someone be the fucking local dog catcher as Felix was posting if they’ve ever exhibited any sort of positive feelings about the state of Israel. I’m so serious about this.”

Bullshit argument. Vast majority of countries do not provide Israel with military aid, and you would never say: “Hey Irish pro-Palestine protestor, ALL of your pro-Palestine protests are stupid and a waste of time because your government doesn’t provide military aid to Israel. If you really wanna protest immigrate to one of the few countries that provide aid to Israel and only then will your protest be meaningful.”

The reason why campus activists aren't protesting about Iran is actually pretty simple. The U.S. isn't allied with Iran. The U.S. isn't facilitating the mass slaughter of Iranians by funding and arming the Iranian regime to the tune of billions of dollars. To my knowledge, there's basically no one in the mainstream media who is celebrating the killing of Iranian protestors. That's a good thing. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with Gaza, where cheering Israel's war crimes was extremely common. Campus activists were calling on their universities to divest from companies that were complicit in Israel's actions in Gaza and the West Bank. To my knowledge, there is no American university that has financial holdings in companies that are complicit in the Iranian regime's killing of protestors. It makes sense that campus activists in America would be most concerned with American wrongdoing. That's what they might have some influence over. They have no influence on the Iranian regime, which will continue committing murder regardless, because it's a murderous regime. Also, while there might be a tiny minority of people on the far-left who defend Iran's slaughter of its own people, I've seen very little of that. Are there many campus groups that have issued statements in support of the Iranian regime's actions? To assume that student activists who care about Gaza are fine with the Iranian regime's behavior is to assume quite a lot without evidence. This is classic whataboutism. What about Sudan? What about the Congo? What about Iran? Except in none of these cases is the U.S. actively and directly supporting a genocide. This whataboutism is a move to distract from the continued slaughter in Gaza and to demean and delegitimize student activists and anyone else who supports the basic human rights of Palestinians.
