I have a lot of respect for Ben Rhodes and hope they follow his lead, but any foreign policy org that includes Jake Sullivan or others from the Biden administration that had any modicum of decision making authority around Israel & Gaza has no place in the next Dem administration.

This is the actual subhead from this story … honestly anyone who believes that a genocide occurred in a place where new luxury cafes are “popping up” and people are running road races is either an idiot or an unrepentant Israel hater.
The charge of genocide against Israel is at this point Orwellian - an accusation devoid of logic and evidence that is a modern-day blood libel. Calling it shameful and disgusting doesn’t do it justice.

Just once, it would be nice if folks like @NickKristof took Hezbollah to task for turning Southern Lebanon into a launching pad for terrorist attacks against Israel and imperiling the communities that live there ... rather than bashing Israel for protecting its people and territory against a terrorist organization supported by Iran.

Hezbollah spent years turning Southern Lebanon into a hub for its military operations against Israel (with direct support from Iran) - even though Hezbollah has no territorial or national claims against Israel. After October 7 and after the Iran war Hezbollah, not Israel, initiated a military conflict by firing rockets against civilian targets in Northern Israel forcing tens of thousands of civilians to fled their homes. If Lebanon will not stop its territory from being turned into a launching pad for terrorist attacks, Israel has every right to do it on its own. But of course Israel critics don’t care about all that. They just want another excuse to bash Israel.

Hillel is promoted as an inclusive community for Jewish students, but students nationwide not avowedly pro-Israel feel excluded — even as these groups receive student fees. Hillel's activities include sending students to Israel to support the IDF, which is committing genocide.
