Baldwin pointed to reviews in Utah and Louisiana showing "next to zero instances" of non-citizens voting and warned that additional enforcement could intimidate voters. "It's so incredibly rare." Yet Democrats continue to oppose voter ID, proof of citizenship requirements, and the SAVE America Act while insisting Americans simply trust the system. Still, the question remains. Instead of answering why stronger safeguards are a problem, they simply repeated that non-citizen voting is "rare". If it's so rare, why fight so hard against measures designed to prove it?
