Donald Trump now wants a quick exit from the war in Iran, which he may think is feasible considering the 2 minute highlight reel briefings he’s been getting. We still have a moving set of goals and even Republican lawmakers are calling the administration out for the lack of transparency. No one should be surprised that support for the war is falling in every single poll.

I am deeply troubled to learn that a person in custody died on Rikers Island this morning. My thoughts are with their loved ones, who are now facing an unimaginable loss. Transparency and accountability are essential, and the Department of Correction is conducting an investigation. While we do not yet know the cause of death, too many have died on Rikers Island for far too long. Rikers must close, and we will pursue every avenue to do so as quickly as possible.

My sweet Wally is having surgery tomorrow. He has an enlarged prostate and bladder. I took him to the vet yesterday.Took him back today. We just got home. Tomorrow he checks in at 7 AM for surgery then Monday is ultrasound to rule out tumors . I’m beside myself. #PrayforWally
