President Trump is coming to terms with the fact that you can’t trust the word of Islamists. He’s starting to realize how dishonorable most Muslims are when negotiations are involved. Hopefully the bombing of the Iranian regime resumes soon. He should carpet bomb every IRGC asset.

I'm seeing a lot of fake information about a potential deal to reopen the Strait and end Iran's nuclear weapons program. First, the Iranians are not receiving any cash, and no funds are being released for simply signing a deal or attending a meeting. The deal is structured to ensure that the US and its allies concerns are prioritized, and that if the Islamic Republic of Iran meets its obligations, then economic benefits will flow to them and to the entire region. This deal has the potential to remake the region and lead to lasting peace. I've noticed a couple of bizarre things in the reporting over the last few hours. First, people who (rightly) said Donald Trump was a historic president a month ago now criticizing a deal based on unconfirmed media reports. Second, people who say you can't trust a word said by the IRGC who apparently believe anonymously sourced social media posts. The president is going to get us a good outcome, one way or the other.

For those who have placed a bet on Kenya failing, particularly those seeking leadership positions, I’m sorry to inform you that you will lose that bet. Kenya is sailing on the right side of history. As a person who sits close to the nation’s dashboard, I can confirm that the fundamentals are sound, reliable, and promising. The deliberate distortion of data and perception for political gain is a short-term and selfish ideology that does little to advance our collective progress. Leadership must define hope, not doom. Good ideas must be fought with superior options.

Honored to meet with Kenyan President Dr. William Ruto (@WilliamsRuto). We discussed the partnership between the United States and Kenya on a range of regional and security issues, as well as opportunities to expand U.S.-Kenyan commercial and investment opportunities. We discussed U.S.-Kenyan cooperation to respond to Ebola and I thanked President Ruto for his steadfast partnership. Both of our nations have vital roles to play in fighting this outbreak and protecting our populations. The United States has contributed over $200 million in direct support to the Ebola response, in addition to $350 million for Ebola response and other humanitarian assistance in the DRC, South Sudan, and Uganda, as part of our $1.8 billion contribution to UN OCHA. We also covered he critical importance of achieving a humanitarian truce in Sudan, followed by a permanent ceasefire. We emphasized that external actors must cease fueling the conflict through military support to the warring parties. We highlighted the announcement of the June 8 joint statement on the Sudan political track. This is an important document developed by a coalition of multilateral institutions – including the AU, IGAD, Arab League, EU, and UN - reaffirming the international commitment to a peaceful, democratic, and stable future for the country, as well as to sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.

I listed my old iPhone 14 Pro on a marketplace app for $500. A buyer messaged me, offering full price, but asked to meet at a well-lit gas station because it was late. It felt safe enough. We met under the bright LED lights near the pumps at 10:15 PM. The buyer looked completely normal...a college-aged guy in a hoodie. He handed me five crisp $100 bills. I handed over the factory-reset phone. He checked it, nodded, thanked me, and we went our separate ways. I drove home feeling great about a clean, easy sale. At 10:45 PM, my phone lit up with a message. “You scammed me. This phone is blacklisted and the screen is a cheap replica. I want my money back right now.” I was furious. “What? No it isn't. I bought it directly from Apple. I have the receipt.” The buyer replied with a video...
