Unveiled this beautiful monument at the gravesite of legendary KC Monarchs pitcher Hilton Smith, with his son DeMorris (center), grandson and great grand kids in attendance, at Mount Moriah Cemetery today! Hilton died in 1983 and was inducted into the @baseballhall in 2001!

@nesdmnborder I hope you’re not actually an attorney. Zero critical thinking skills.

If you’re a white man in America who’s younger than 35 and you’re not genuinely far-right by now, you’re seriously ngmi… Wake up for your literal survival. Your future grandchildren are begging you.

@mikenelson586 Since the Battle of Midway occurred 84 years ago and the battle tactics are no longer relevant in today world, what critical need is there to be able to recite facts from that event?

Not only do I think a SECDEF should have *heard* of the Battle of Midway, I'd expect them to understand how the "torpedos or bombs" decision may have been pivotal in the Pacific War. I love how people think "expecting people to know things about their field" is a "gotcha"

@mikenelson586 I agree with you. But yes, both sides would accept someone with a Nazi tattoo. Have you seen the posters put out by the administration? VPOTUS doesn't want purity tests. It's bonkers.

Taking partisanship out of it, I don't think anyone who got a Nazi tattoo should ever be described as the best of anything Putting partisanship back into it, would you accept a R who claimed they "accidentally" got a Nazi tattoo? No, you wouldn't. It's pure, rank hypocrisy
Jon Favreau@jonfavs

Graham Platner isn’t just our best and only chance to beat Susan Collins, he’s a good, decent man who’s struggled and grown and is always trying to do better. I hope everyone with reservations takes a little time to get to know the real life version of him, not what the algorithm throws in our faces. Clearly, that’s what so many people in Maine have done - from all different walks of life and political persuasions.

Platner did have it covered up, but it's telling *when* he got it covered. Not in the TWO DECADES he wore it, which would have shown individual desire to change it, bit only after it became news and a political liability He is AT BEST and absolute idiot and likely thinks the Nazi iconography "looks badass"- neither of which are an endorsement for the role of Senator

If Platner really regrets having a Nazi tattoo, he could have it removed. Why doesn’t he?

Disgraced former Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino: “Our culture is definitely in jeopardy by those hundreds of millions of foreigners that, as you say, don't care about your culture, your history…to me is a greater threat than a violent criminal or a terrorist." Hundreds of millions of foreigners? WTF is he talking about?

🚨PETE HEGSETH JUST GOT A FUCKING UNANIMOUS A+ FROM ALL 1,250 TOP MILITARY OFFICERS — THE ENTIRE PENTAGON BRASS JUST TOLD THE LIBERAL CRYBABIES TO GO FUCK THEMSELVES! Follow @UnmaskTheSys Every single one of the highest-ranked officers from every branch of the military polled him on his iron-fist handling of Iran and gave him a perfect score. While the weak-kneed, virtue-signaling liberals cry and clutch their pearls over “tragedies of war,” the real warriors know the only language Iran understands is raw, overwhelming FORCE. Secretary of War Hegseth is the first man in that office in years who refuses to be bullied by terrorists or by the sniveling DC swamp. The haters can seethe all they want — the people who actually fight our wars just gave him their complete and total endorsement. Share this everywhere and watch the liberal meltdown hit nuclear levels! Follow @mcafeenew for more drops.

@jonallendc @ffs2022 Well the War Powers laws are unconstitutional made up BS that abdicate Congress’ responsibility to declare war, so why can’t the executive branch also make up BS rules as they go along, too

Our office has worked for three years to fix the housing allowance, which underpays servicemembers living off base. Congress allocated $2.9 billion to address this, and we expect the Pentagon to get it done.
