I understand your point, and in principle it makes sense. But if you really look at it, the situation isn’t that simple. The team playing those 2 CL games will inevitably rest some of their best players in the league matches to manage fatigue. That already impacts competitiveness just as much, if not more, than a postponement. So in reality, it’s not about giving one team an advantage, it’s about avoiding a situation where the league game is played under distorted conditions anyway
