Everyone at Hungerford Town FC were saddened to hear that supporter & former 1st team sponge man Mick Weller had passed away this week. Mick had been a regular supporter, until ill health stopped him coming to games. Our sincere condolences go out to Mick's family and friends.

@polblonde @LyricHammer So they were obviously the men’s toilets. Decided to change them to gender neutral to please the minority! Why would a lady want to queue to use the loo and have to see a man use a urinal! So 5x more men need to use the loos than women 🤔

This group of players, staff, fans and whole club. What another year. Gutted to have fallen just short but what a great ride it’s been. We have to stick together now and come back stronger than ever. Because believe me this is far from the end. Now LETS HAVE A BREAK FROM WORK ⚽️

End of season review by Manager Adam Hopkins: Firstly, I would like to thank the supporters, the players and the club for all their hard work. A huge thank you to the back room team, Assistant Manager - Jamie Cleary, Head Coach - Adam Kemp, Megan our super physio and A special thanks to our club secretary Lindsay Harris who really does help us with so much. I’m gutted she is moving on, but I know she is only a call away if I need any help. When I came in at Christmas my Aim was to rebuild the team and produce a team that could compete on all fronts. A team that could hit fifty points and a side that could go one step further next year. And that’s exactly what’s been achieved, we finish on fifty three points and a top ten finish. We now average at two points a game, which is exactly what you need over the course of a season to secure a playoff spot next year. Our form is fantastic, we sit in the top four in the league, we now as a team have an identity and our own playing style. We now have a team spirit and a willingness to play for each other. The players attitudes have been great and I’m extremely proud of them. It’s just great to see so the future is bright. There has been some key additions which has helped massively. We have now proven we can play with the big boys in our league. I am excited about the future of Sandhurst Town. There are huge changes for the club coming. Our existing chairmen / owner will be leaving us and with new owners set to take over shortly I’m looking forward to a new challenge. Can I also say a huge congratulations to our senior team for reaching the playoffs. As a former director of Bracknell Town I’m delighted to see this and I’m delighted for Jordan who has taken over at Bracknell. Jordan has put his heart and soul into the job, he deserves a huge amount of credit for what he has achieved.

Been informed tonight the Oxford half marathon is “preferred sex” Humans can’t change sex, it is binary & immutable. We cant prefer to be a different sex from the one we actually are. Our sex remains in every single cell in our bodies, forever, It’s blatant sex discrimination to let males decide to ID as females and steal places and prizes from females in a category they don’t belong in. Compete fair. Suggest boycotting any events that treats female athletes as second class citizens. Males still get fair sport so should females. We’re not less worthy. @mara_yamauchi are these events run under @BritAthletics rules and if so why are females still being treated with such distain?

It's because of your incredible efforts we can be there for children and young people with cancer and their families. Yesterday @CharlieAndrewC ran his first Marathon. A year ago he had never run before but he was determined to run for a charity close to his heart @YLvsCancer He did amazing and finished in 3 hours 53 minutes. Thank you to everyone that supported him. So proud of you Charlie x
