The North Star Cancer Collective is hosting a series of joint, open workshops to build and deepen our shared understanding of the system around children and young people with cancer, and their families. Those attending the workshop via Microsoft Teams at 11.30am -12.30pm on Thursday 22 January will be able to input into and shape the focus of the work of the North Star Cancer Collective, in particular its ambition to 'strengthen the mental health of children and young people with cancer, and their families – within and beyond treatment'. These sessions are open to all. Sam’s Story follows a child and their family as they deal with a cancer diagnosis and all the emotional and practical concerns that come with it, from long journeys to hospital and money worries during treatment to long-term effects like fatigue and anxiety.
