For a psychology course at the University Oklahoma, Samantha Fulnecky was asked to write a 650-word essay reacting to an article about how people are perceived based on societal expectations of gender. In her essay, Fulnecky argued that traditional gender roles should not be considered stereotypes. She cited the Bible to support her stance that eliminating gender in society would be "detrimental" because that would put people "farther from God's original plan for humans." She received zero points out of 25 on the essay. Transgender professor, Mel Curtis, said Ms. Fulnecky, failed to use empirical evidence/and called parts of her essay offensive. "To call an entire group of people 'demonic' is highly offensive, especially a minoritized population," the instructor wrote in the online grading platform. Fulnecky says she followed the assignment guidelines and should not be penalized for her religious viewpoints. OU officials point to the formal grade-appeal process as the student awaits a decision. We at Turning Point OU stand with Samantha. We should not be letting mentally ill professors around students. Clearly this professor lacks the intellectual maturity to set her own bias aside and take grading seriously. Professors like this are the very reason conservatives can't voice their beliefs in the classroom. Kuddos to Samantha for leading by example and standing up for what she believes in. @UofOklahoma , do better! #universityofoklahoma #trans #woke @ou_president @uofoklahoma @TPUSA @GovStitt @theoudaily @ounightly @SenadorJett @senmullin

Though sister Samantha mostly aligns w/where I am on sex and gender, I don’t see The OU professor as wrong for this. The truth is, she didn’t source, quote or give any empirical data in her response. What she did was affirm what she believed the Bible taught which doesn’t meet the standards of what was required. It was more of a simple opinion piece of personal belief than it was an academic response replete with empirical data, research and proper sourcing. There was a way she could have represented what she believed academically which was what the professor wanted. This is part of what college pushes you to do. It pushes you to be uncomfortable, think critically, think outside of your bubble and engage ideas that you don’t agree with and respond in a way that an academic does. It teaches you to research and consider other ideas. This is what college teaches you to do. Of course universities can also be biased and some profs are highly ideologically driven but if Christians can’t handle these things at the university then they won’t be able to in the real world. The real world isn’t a Christian bubble. This also pushes her to think like an academic which is helpful when excavating truth. This is how you learn. I agree that there are some profs that are extremely biased against orthodox Christian belief (I had one) but I don’t think this is ONLY that. I just think she also didn’t follow the instructions 🤷🏾

I know it will never happen, but as I go to sleep tonight, I implore the #Cowboys to make their throwbacks the new home uniform. Don’t get me wrong, the classics are exceptional, but the throwbacks are beyond that ✭

@KingKanawha1863 @JosephAPWilson1 @FlintDibble AFAIK there IS an ecosystem of fraudulent grifters and magical thinkers, but a paltry handful of genuine, qualified debunkers willing to enter the frey. I’m not disagreeing with your point, just trying to reframe the problem.

I respect Dr. Dibble, but it seems he’s following a lot of other Online Debunkers down the pipeline from earnest educational content to vitriolic, cynical bashing that can only preach to the choir.

Graham Hancock's absolutely wild Sphinx conspiracy theory from 1996. He claims a multi-millionaire from a secret religious sect had taken over archaeological work at Giza in Egypt See the full video "The Birth of Graham Hancock's Doomsday Cult" LINK: youtu.be/X104ovO3q4w

@FlintDibble @KingKanawha1863 I agree, with the caveat that I think Prof. Dave's approach, while cathartic for those who've been abused by his targets, has a potential to push fence-sitters away. We criticize (rightly) the vile vitriol of some on the other side, and shouldn't cede the moral high ground, IMHO.

@FlintDibble Honestly, I’d love to see some social-science research into brain activity (dopamine hits, etc) when presented with images like this vs similarly comparable but factually-based images. My hypothesis is that it feels good in some basic (but biological) way.

Why does fake shit like this go more viral than reality? I love fiction, but the actual evidence for our real history is pretty cool too. Don't you think?

@WhitneyColt5g @FlintDibble Flint ALWAYS talks about how science evolves as new knowledge emerges. It doesn’t sound like you listened to what he had to say.

@FlintDibble You’re arrogant & condescending when you present your information. You refuse to concede that science is an ever-evolving field of knowledge that continually adapts & expands as new discoveries, technologies, & evidence emerge. Plus, admitted to you on the podcast learned a lot.

I'm happy to go on JRE again I contacted his team months ago in a polite way. Ghosted and then he repeatedly insulted me on air Joe Rogan's too closed minded to have me back for a one on one. He prefers to slander me from the safety of his studio with no right to reply

@FlintDibble Go on the podcast again instead of slandering the dude who even made you remotely famous. Would be more gracious but I don't see a lot of grace

The Dark Mystery of the Agora Bone Well from Athens. Filled with the tiny, fragile skeletons of hundreds of newborn infants, and 150 dogs. Is this evidence of a gruesome ritual or or a plague, famine, or war? Or something else? Full video here: youtube.com/watch?v=FBy1uA…

I know a girl, mid 20s, not religious/ woke. She's hot, low bmi, charismatic, insane hip-waist ratio. She's a virgin and doesn't wanna be. Doesn't need a rich or tall guy, he just needs to be cute and top tier emotionally mature, has his insecurity handled. Where shuld she look?
