They signed Reijnders last summer for £70m, used him for a few games, he wasn’t good enough, they binned him instantly. Now they’re about to sign Elliot Anderson for £100m. That’s close to £250m spent on a single position in the space of a year, no other club has that kind of financial luxury. This is what Arsenal are up against, financial cheats with endless pool of blood money. All their trophies are asterisked in my eyes.

Like it is SO SO obvious that Nico O’Reilly is the best player in the league. I want Manchester City fans to start running a PFA POTY campaign. Seriously. No one has matched the consistency of him throughout the season, nor the level of big game performances. He’s played in 2 positions throughout the season, and elite in both. Absolutely elite. Go look at Manchester City’s win rate when he does play and doesn’t. Nobody contributes to winning more than him. He is about to spearhead City to a league title.

@StevenMcinerney I’m not too upset to be honest. He’s not twirking for them, they have obviously approached him . Born in Madrid, 30 in the summer , this is his final big contract coming up. Horrendous injury took its toll on him, we’ve had his best years and he’s won the lot with us.

@JrVaide Home fans are one of the most quiet in the league. I’ve been there in the champions league and the prem multiple times with spurs, we do usually play well there but that can’t be an excuse. It’s usually a poor atmosphere, away support is phenomenal tho.
