@DonnyWals I keep my todos in a bullet journal and start from there. I have Streaks on my phone to make sure I do at least a bit of marketing every day. Also, I found that starting out with physical exercise is super energizing.

My fellow indie/solo/freelance devs… What’s your favorite way to start and end your day? Do you plan it in advance? Do you review progress at the end of the day? Would love to hear about some of y’all’s daily routines 😄

@matteo_spada @TryAstroApp In my experience those popularity values are for super general keywords like “food” or “training”, I never found a more specific keyword with those values. That explains why I am not rich. YET!

Just to clarify, if using @tryastroapp you find keywords like these you have probably discovered a gold mine😂

Almost every new feature I do for @HabitKit is completely optional: As usual, I added a switch to the settings menu to hide the new category feature. I want to keep the app as clean and simple as possible 👌

@ikoichi It’s a whole different skill. You need to write HTML like it was 1998, using mostly tables. To be honest I would not dare to write a newsletter from vanilla HTML, I’d look for a template.

I need to build an HTML email that needs to look pretty. I know how to make it in plain HTML and CSS, but how to make it compatible with the email clients? Any hints?

@OrestesGaolin You comment out your code chunk by chunk until you get the actual error. Then you can I uncomment everything and build.

iOS and Swift developers, how do you deal with this kind of issues? How can I figure out what part of the code makes swift compiler throw this error?

@gigi_dufresne Mostly Irish, plus some German. I am I no way “taking proficient” in Irish but Duolingo definitely helped me learn a lot of words. About German, I had no German prior and now I understand some of it, so I’d call it a success.

@SebastianRoehl Actually after a certain threshold they give you 3 freeze slots, so you can skip and forget for a few days, I’d have never done it without those

@KSlazinski A couple of times the store had cached wrong screenshots and kept on returning errors. The only solution I found (via Stack Overflow) was cretaing an API key and deleting the downloads via terminal. Crazy stuff.

@daniel_nguyenx @AnthropicAI It is actually right. There’s this archaic word in Italian, “claudicante”, meaning lame (as in “walking lame”). So yep, that’s probably the origin of the word.
