Saturday is our group presentation. And strangely, I'm not thinking about slides. I'm thinking about the story. A few days ago, this chatbot was just a project brief on a screen: "Build a Telegram customer support chatbot for a travel agency." Now it's hours of conversations. Late-night debugging. Messages flying back and forth with teammates: "Should we demo the visa assistant first?" "What happens if the customer asks something outside the knowledge base?" "How do we explain RAG without everyone's eyes glazing over?" We've been discussing structure, testing scenarios, refining explanations. Not just building the product. Learning how to tell its story. And somewhere in all of this, I've shared the process publicly. The wins. The bugs. The moments I felt clever. The moments I felt completely lost. Building in public has been uncomfortable. Because people don't just see your finished work. They see your confusion. Your experiments. Your imperfect drafts. But I think that's what makes it worthwhile. This project started as an ordinary text. Now it feels like a lesson in trust. Trusting my teammates. Trusting the process. Trusting that confusion isn't a sign you're failing, it's often a sign you're learning something new. I'm still nervous about Saturday. But it's the kind of nervousness that tells me I care. And honestly, I'm grateful. Grateful for the bugs that forced me to think deeper. Grateful for teammates who challenge my ideas. Grateful that I get to build something that might genuinely help people. Saturday is just a presentation. The real win is realizing how much I've grown while building this.

@omoalhajaabiola Please, this is exactly the job I'm doing now. Sourcing for local businesses in USA, without websites, I use Google map, but I get few leads. Yelp has blocked me and I cannot access yellow pages from Nigeria. Please I need help on how to get more leads and pitch them. Thanks

If a brick-and-mortar local business such as a plumber, dentist, med spa, lawn care service, or landscaping company has strong reviews on Yelp or Google Business Profile, they are your ideal prospects for no-code website development and lead generation services. These businesses often rely heavily on outdated websites (or none at all), yet they already have proven customer trust through reviews. Look on Yelp, Google, Yellow Pages, or BBB. There are earning opportunities hidden behind businesses that rank well but lack a modern, conversion-focused website.

I’m building a SaaS that needs gmail.readonly to intercept codes. I read that Google OAuth verification for restricted scopes requires a $15k CASA Tier 2 audit and up to 3 months of waiting. Is this true? Any founders survived this? I thought of using ‘Testing' mode but it caps at 100 users & requires manual GCP whitelisting (no API). The only clear path I have tried is App Password but I suspect this might lead to friction . I’m lunching Beta in a Few days Curious to hear opinions from experienced fellows pls.

@TosinOlugbenga One of the downsides of vibe coding Then when the flaws appear, they resort to devs

Instead of people to hire developers now, they just buy AI credits. And in most cases they don’t care about system design or software architecture, the moment the app they vibe coded is working….thats all. And I get, most time those applications are deeply flawed but they are mostly not even aware.

@TosinOlugbenga Regardless I still feel it will end up in the hands of an actual dev when it reaches an extent there is only so far claude can take you

@iamfavour3 @TosinOlugbenga Aside credit . Managing software system is different from building with AI assistance. Things will always break at some point and as a vibe -founder I don’t have interest in been the mechanic after spending so much Brain power in building

@TosinOlugbenga They can vibe code the first part but would definitely run out of credits then they try to make an update on the subsequent versions which brings them back to a dev.

@TosinOlugbenga You’re right. I’m building an Auto-Apply SaaS and at some point I realized Scaling without an actual engineer to manage the system is a time wasting game even though I can micromanage with IDE’s More AI Founders simply means more job for engineers.

when it’s finally your time to exit you won’t be selling your app btw. you’ll be selling your TikTok account, your paid ads campaign, your audience. these big CATS don’t really care what your app does or even how much revenue you’re pulling… the real question is: HOW are you getting those numbers? they’re acquiring the company to continue growing. not dying… DISTRIBUTION.

I had a call with him not quite long, and there might be an update soon. He mentioned he’ll be getting back to me with feedback from his end either tonight or tomorrow. I genuinely want us to have this conversation on Tech Twitter X because I believe it’ll be highly educative and valuable for everyone building in this space. It’s going to be a great opportunity to learn and understand things we often overlook.

I’m thinking of inviting a friend who works with the NDPC in Abuja for a discussion on compliance and the things every builder, founder, and startup team should know before they become costly mistakes. I’ll host it as an X Space so everyone can join, listen, and ask questions. Would this be something you guys will be interested in attending? Let me hear your thoughts before I reach out to him.

@log0083 @athcanft telegram bots are easy to make. just use botfather to create the bot. send the bot a message and grab the chat id and bot token. then use that to send yourself a message with any trigger you can configure in your app. Eaaaasyyy

someone attacked my web app with mass sign ups + managed to find a critical bug that allowed him to get the maximum subscription tier for $0 the only reason i knew was because of this telegram bot i set up to notify me of signups / subscriptions i noticed the $129.99/mo plan, and the dodgy emails, so i investigated before he was able to rinse my API (which would've cost me hundreds of $), I disabled his account, temporarily stopped sign ups, audited my code with claude, and fixed the bug i highly recommend having a tele bot that tells you when people sign up, it can save you from stuff like this

using AI to code as a software engineer is already hard enough, I imagine what less technical people go through. especially frontend engineering.
