@elewachii But then, low pay is relative. What you see as low pay might be someone's life changer. Everybody should take whatever jobs they can grab cos there's not a lot of that going around.

I saw one ad about CV and helping you land your dream role.. I clicked on the ad, sent the default message and didn't get a response.. after like 3hrs or so I got a response asking me to send my cv and my job role for diagnosis.. I sent my cv and role.. the guy then asked me what platform can he use to automate his WhatsApp.. ☺️ I guess he saw what I can do from my cv.. anyways he gave his analysis and then charged me N5,900 to revamp my cv, 14,900 for get hired fast toolkit and N49,900 for mentorship well, I new he used AI for the diagnosis.. so I took the diagnosis he gave and fed it to Claude along with my CV, Claude revamped it.. and I used it to apply casually for a job on LinkedIn.. the recruiter said "this looks strong" I guess I don't need to pay for any of his services for now.. I feel like I cheated him.. or NOT..

Claude Code + ChatGPT Images 2.0 is f*cking cracked 🤯 I rebuilt my static ad system inside Claude Code on the new ChatGPT Images 2.0 model. One brand name + one URL = 40 production-ready static ads. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who need high-volume ad creative without briefing a designer or spending hours in Canva. If you're finding winning ad concepts on Meta and manually recreating them one at a time — copying prompts, pasting product details, tweaking aspect ratios, downloading, organizing... This system eliminates the entire loop: → Give Claude a brand name and URL → It researches the brand's fonts, colors, packaging, and photography style → Builds a Brand DNA document from scratch → Fills in 40 proven ad templates (headline, us vs them, testimonial, UGC, review cards, stat callouts) with brand-specific details → Fires every prompt to ChatGPT Images 2.0 with your product photos as reference → Downloads finished ads into organized folders with an HTML gallery No manual prompt filling. No Canva templates. No copy-pasting between tools. What you get: → 40 ad formats filled with your exact brand colors, fonts, and copy → Text that actually renders correctly (the new model handles dense copy, logos, and multi-language callouts cleanly) → Product photos passed as reference so the model matches your real packaging → A reusable system — new brand, new folder, same pipeline Built 100% in Claude Code with ChatGPT Images 2.0. I put together a DIY playbook showing the exact architecture so you can build this yourself in Claude Code. This week has been very very stressful. I mean it in every way. Work has been very overwhelming, then top that up with upskilling and hitting deadlines with assignment submission. This message from my employer, just 7 weeks into my job is the most wholesome and encouraging thing I've been told in recent time. Doing 2 jobs(full time), learning and teaching and at this point,I don't think I know how I'm winging it. It's been a week!

@Call_Me_Commy Of course I do. 100%. Demography + fear of losing that client based on pricing, etc. Drive the convo to let them feel they're winning by spending small money [$3k (one-time)] to get $20k monthly in additional revenue. According to Hormozi, normalize calling bigger numbers. 😁

To be fair to me,I felt $1500 was a good price for that project. I also researched what I should typically charge before sending the quote. I'm beginning to think it's not just about the price but then feeling if my demography is deserving of such price to be paid. I don't know if you get what I mean.

I got an invite for a job on upwork in November, last year. They asked me to prepare a quote for the job. I did and capped it at $1500 for the 2 phases. They ghosted me and sent a message today that they took the quote I gave them, gave it to another person who has done phase 1 and part of phase 2 and now they want me to complete what the person has done. I probed to know who the developer was because I'm wondering why they didn't have the person finish the job. Realised that she charged $2,200 for doing just part of the job.😂 I feel like a joke to myself. Me thinking they ghosted because the price was on the high side. Alas, they took another person who is more expensive. This person did their job as her second job on upwork and she doesn't remotely have something similar to what they wanted as a portfolio. I'm just trying to understand alot of things.😅 I just dey laugh myself since I see am. I won't do that job if they don't pay me what I negotiate sha. They should look for someone else if they wouldn't pay me what I negotiate for.

@elewachii Yep. They say NO to three (3) $1,500 gigs, only to say YES to one (1) $5,000 gig. Using freelancer math: The former ends up managing 3 clients at 3 x $1,500 = $4,500. 3 x the work x meetings. The later ends up with only one (1) client at $5,000. $500 extra. Same work. 🙌

I spent years thinking burnout was a badge of honor.. Turns out the most successful people I know are the ones who say "no" the most.. Protecting your energy is not laziness. It's strategy.. You need to adopt that strategy moving forward. GM It's gonna be a good week 🍷
