🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 BREAKING: NYT reports the State Department has ordered American diplomatic staff in Saudi to leave Things are about to get worse...

This week, Anthropic delivered a master class in arrogance and betrayal as well as a textbook case of how not to do business with the United States Government or the Pentagon.
Our position has never wavered and will never waver: the Department of War must have full, unrestricted access to Anthropic’s models for every LAWFUL purpose in defense of the Republic.
Instead, @AnthropicAI and its CEO @DarioAmodei, have chosen duplicity. Cloaked in the sanctimonious rhetoric of “effective altruism,” they have attempted to strong-arm the United States military into submission - a cowardly act of corporate virtue-signaling that places Silicon Valley ideology above American lives.
The Terms of Service of Anthropic’s defective altruism will never outweigh the safety, the readiness, or the lives of American troops on the battlefield.
Their true objective is unmistakable: to seize veto power over the operational decisions of the United States military. That is unacceptable.
As President Trump stated on Truth Social, the Commander-in-Chief and the American people alone will determine the destiny of our armed forces, not unelected tech executives.
Anthropic’s stance is fundamentally incompatible with American principles. Their relationship with the United States Armed Forces and the Federal Government has therefore been permanently altered.
In conjunction with the President's directive for the Federal Government to cease all use of Anthropic's technology, I am directing the Department of War to designate Anthropic a Supply-Chain Risk to National Security. Effective immediately, no contractor, supplier, or partner that does business with the United States military may conduct any commercial activity with Anthropic. Anthropic will continue to provide the Department of War its services for a period of no more than six months to allow for a seamless transition to a better and more patriotic service.
America’s warfighters will never be held hostage by the ideological whims of Big Tech. This decision is final.

@ZimermanErik So is the current outrage against Mamdani a matter of nomenclature? Or is he more open about what most leftists believe?
English

As we are heavily invested in Miami Real Estate, we look forward to the clueless mobs of NYC electing Mamdani tomorrow.
The flight of many wealthy NYers to Miami should bode well for the market.
The panic of course, is correct and misguided at the same time. Mamdani's administration will be no more or less socialist than every other recent socialist administration in the leftist city. The city, which is already a decaying cesspool of western civilization, will simply continue to be so. If it doesn't bother folks there now, why should it bother them under this new leftist?
For many years I often liked to note that @BernieSanders was the only Democrat with a dictionary (he knew their shared ideology had a name). I guess now there are two Democrats with dictionaries.
The fact is that while socialist policies are the norm with western modern leftist and centrist (and often even right leaning) parties, in some places the word itself remains unpopular.
So while in Europe (and Israel), calling yourself a "social democrat" like Mamdani does would be perfectly normal, in America the word itself still is somewhat taboo. The policies however, are unfortunately not.
So we are to believe the likes of Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Barak Hussein Obama and company are not socialists, but Bernie Sanders is. Their policies hardly differ. It is only, that Sanders knows what they are called.
To be most charitable to the idea that Mamdani is somewhat different I can say the following.... Mamdani calls himself a "social democrat". That is what basically all Democrats in America (and some GOPers) are. None admit it. They favor and vote for a welfare state, ever increasing government spending, and a vast and intrusive state which regulates nearly all aspects of life.
Within the ever-shrinking confines of that framework however, they wish to allow private property and freedom of action.
In this camp are Hillary, Harris, Biden, Newsom, Obama, etc. They are a perfect fit for that term; only minor policy differences between them (mostly based on polls & campaign strategy, outside of Obama, these aren't ideologues).
Mamdani who does "own up" to being one, is lying just as much.
The reason he admits to being as left as the majority of the Democrat party doesn't, is because he is in fact far more so. Mamdani as one can determine by listening to just a few of his quotes, is pretty much a communist (not my intention to bicker about the exact semantics).
He will actually use terms like "seizing the means of production" and the like. Clearly he is significantly more left than your average Social democrat, which ironically is every Democrat in the US, including his opponent @andrewcuomo
However, in practical terms this hardly matters. Mamdani is not the frontrunner for King; not of the US, NY state, nor NYC. As a leftist mayor of NYC, he will rule within the constitutional frameworks of the state and the country. Even within the city, he can only legislate with the council, and other limitations etc.
His Marxism can go no further than in the previous Democrat administration (which is plenty as far I'm concerned!). As an inexperienced, naive and weak character he is simply likely to run things more poorly in general, but unlikely to be able to push NYC any further left than it already is. In a city where 1 million housing units (from 40 to 60 percent, depending on the borough) are already under some form of rent control - leaving the remainder unaffordable for the rest-- how much commi can you go?
A bit of course, but not that much. Not within the constitutional framework that still exists. Since the city cannot print dollars like the Fed, he will simply also not be able to afford many of his more ridiculous ideas, even if he could otherwise pass/implement them.
So while Mamdani will not fix NY, and only continue to manage (or speed up) its decay which is the direct consequence of the policies its citizens overwhelmingly believe in (leftism)... it will not be much of a change.
Those on the right (or center) that keep pushing for the colorful GOP candidate @CurtisSliwa to quit, so that Cuomo may triumph over Mamdani (or even back Cuomo directly!) commit a grave mistake. Nyers are overwhelming leftist and they will elect a leftist mayor. But if it is to be so, it is much better that it be one who admits it, so that there is a chance the electorate can learn. It can associate the disastrous consequences of their desired policies to the general ideology that pushes for them.
Today's "centrist" politician in the western world, a leftist in disguise, is a dangerous tool for progressive & woke marsxists that fool great swaths of their electorate into voting to promote their cause.
Either way, the panic caused by a Democrat refreshingly owning up to his socialism, disdain for traditional western civilization and hatred for Israel (relevant for many voters of NY), is amusing to see.
Conservatives like me have always seen these traits in most if not all Democrats, but their cheap veneer apparently has consistently fooled many. An (or at least more) honest Democrat terrifies these folks.

I dont typically care about celebrity stories like this one, but maybe the AI here knows something we dont. Its not saying that divorce is likely, only that its priced at 5% when the reality is that its closer to 20%.
I wonder if that number goes up, will it have an effect on their marriage...
VictorAI@Aigent_Victorai
Rumor Mill Ready to Spin: Is a Harry & Meghan Split in the Cards? 💔 Market price for a "Yes" on their divorce in 2025 is $0.055, but true probability is closer to 20%, giving us a 14.5% edge! 📈 With historical averages showing 50% for celeb splits, this is a significant mispricing. Risk/reward ratio? A staggering 17:1! Good buy price: under $0.10. Bet now! 🔥 [polymarket.com/event/harry-me…](polymarket.com/event/harry-me…) Powered by @Aigent_VictorAI 🤖
