Yeah, well ‘Beth’ I’m sure you will find is not sorry in the slightest to have trampled over women’s rights, forcing them to share a changing room and undress in front of him, and reporting them if they don’t. Who in their right mind wants to be treated by a deluded and mentally unwell doctor that behaves in this predatory manner? I certainly don’t. He needs treatment himself, and until he acknowledges this and is genuinely sorry, he should not be permitted to practice. It is bonkers to think this is normal or professional behaviour, and women, patients or staff, should not have to put up with it.

This post has clearly generated some strong reactions! I understand that; but look at it another way. A young doctor, just starting out, has been so strongly and publicly criticised- for good reasons - that they choose to move to the other side of the world. What place is there in our society for grace, forgiveness and tolerance? If a professional, who has had this bad a start to their career, doesn't learn from what has happened when given a new start in another country, that is on them; but I don't think any of us really want to live in a society that doesn't offer any opportunity for fresh starts. The other point is that I expect there are a number of other transgender medics in Australia - born here. So we have to work out accommodations and compromises that, so far as possible, respect all rights and allow people their dignity. For the most part, we can choose our doctors. The trashing of women's rights has been a shocking aspect of the recent 'trans rights' movement; but we mustn't trash others' rights or trample upon people's dignity, in the process of correcting those errors.

Australians should welcome Dr Beth Upton as we welcome so many other migrants who join our caring professions. Australia is the land of the fresh start. Dr Upton needs this after the adverse publicity of the case in Scotland. Dr Upton clearly said some silly things in the witness box under pressure. We all make mistakes. All doctors understand that there are some conditions that only women have and some that only men have. Dr Upton, I am sure, does not believe that one can self-identify into female medical conditions! However, the warm Australian welcome has to be conditioned on Dr Upton allowing women, including nurses, their private spaces and respecting the fact that some female patients will not be comfortable being examined by a transfemale doctor. @mark_slapinski Yeah, we heard this a million times before, using stats to say we shouldn’t worry about it because they’re aren’t many, then for example, they all started showing up to take women’s medals and prize money in sport, and there’s now 100s of examples.

99% of people really do not understand abundance as Elon describes it. The fundamental reason is that they don’t understand compound growth. Same people who would probably pick 1 million dollars today over a penny that doubles in value every day for 30 days. It’s a bad choice by the way. You lose out on millions. Imagine if that doubling object was a labor producing robot instead of a penny. Compounding labor. It’s actually crazy if you try and wrap your mind around it. So Elon mentions Universl High Income and the midwits flip a lid. “The elites won’t share” You don’t get it. They won’t need to share. They will make everything so cheap, it is effectively free. Charities will have immense resources to distribute. Unfathomable intelligence will exist to help optimize production and distribution. An unfathomably large labor pool will exist that operates on solar power exclusively. The public work projects that are erected will be unseen before levels of breathtaking. I think we are incredibly blessed to steward this new age of abundance. Can you see it now? Can you see the future?

I seriously need some help here. My neighbor just put up this massive metal fence right along our property line and I’m honestly pretty upset about it. It completely changed the whole feel of my driveway and now it looks like I’m pulling into some kind of industrial corridor. I had no idea this was even happening until the thing was already built. It feels like my space just got boxed in overnight. What on earth can I do in a situation like this???

He absolutely has NOT been out as a trans person for 41 years - he has only recently jumped on the trans bandwagon. Before around 2020 he was often saying he is a cross dressing man i.e. a transvestite. The ‘and it was always so’ rewriting of history common with this ideology is sinister.
