@LNER you need to fix your delay repay form please. can’t upload the PDF of the tickets you send when one half of your return is cancelled because it just reads the wrong date 🤦🏻
Afternoon Twitter! Some personal news to share: This Tuesday marked my last day at The Lincolnite. I am profoundly grateful for the journey with the team, the impactful journalism we've done, & the exceptional team I had the privilege to work with.
@LNER thanks. can you also pass on to your digital team to update the form to allow apostrophes ‘ in names please. won’t accept O’Rourke as a ‘valid’ surname 🙃
@LNER trying to submit delay repay - won’t let me upload my PDF of your tickets because it has my outward journey first, then my return (and it’s the return journey I’m claiming), but you can’t download them as separate PDFs. How can I do this?
@LNER they are both LNER services… LCN to KGX, the first direct train of the day on that route and then the next direct one after the one you’ve cancelled.
@orourkechris I'm afraid your ticket wouldn't be valid on these services as they are not direct LNER services/ticket acceptance hasn't been put in place with the other operator. ^Molly
@LNER train canned last minute tomorrow - 11:27 LCN to KGX. It says ‘hop on the next available train’ but that’s two hours later. If I drive to NNG to get the 12:08 are my tickets still going to be valid?
@LNER ok thanks. assessing options - would my tickets also be valid on the 7.30 and 13.24 services direct LCN to KGX as the previous and next services on that route?
@orourkechris Thank you. So we have organised rail replacement between Lincoln and Newark Northgate for customers booked on this service. On arrival at Newark, you can use your existing ticket on the next available LNER service to London Kings Cross. ^Molly
