Most (not all but most) are incapable of understanding consequences from actions taken especially if those consequences are further in the future. Women think about the now, men think about the future (at least that was the traditional way of things, young men are acting more like women every day). Men and women SHOULD compliment each other, the woman helping the man be brought back into the now to enjoy the life he has with her and kids, men plan for the future, to make sure his wife and kids are setup for success.
