Today I was granted access to speak with incarcerated firefighters. They told me: - they hadn’t showered in 5 days - they were not provided regularly meals - they were working 24 hours in a row - they feel under appreciated and underpaid

@nowhabersham repeatedly and incorrectly reports Sherry Joyce was serving life for murder, which is untrue. Reporting her charges as the only information about her is irrelevant & disgraceful. She'd been in prison since 1991, should have paroled long ago, should still be alive.

Last Saturday at Lee Arrendale State Prison in Alto, GA, Sherry Joyce was killed. Staff disregarded/covered up a statement filed by eyewitness Haylee Reed and lied to the rest of the prison population, calling her death a hanging, or a heart attack. Sunday, Reed was also killed.

Also common: "You gonna make us sit here and wait all day?" They can lawfully detain you, but only long enough to conduct their investigation and issue a citation. If they ask, "Do you want to wait for the drug dog?" Simply repeat, "I do not consent to a search of my vehicle."

Often, a dog sniff is threatened to force consent. A K9 officer may conduct an "open air sniff," and if the dog alerts, that is probable cause. Always film the dog and the handler- if they signal or command the dog to alert, you want to catch that on camera.
