Polanski's Green Party are still backing these candidates. Instead of calling out racism they are excusing it. The Greens must now ditch every candidate who has made racist comments, apologise, and tell us how they intend to root the antisemites out of their party.
The Telegraph@Telegraph

🚨 BREAKING: Two Green Party candidates have been arrested on suspicion of stirring up racial hatred for allegedly posting anti-Semitic comments online

A footnote to your impressive sermon, Alex: You voted for the welfare changes that will impact people who are disabled and vulnerable. You also voted to scrap the Winter Fuel Payment to vulnerable pensioners and initially voted to retain the two child benefit cap which exacerbated poverty for many families. You voted against an inquiry into grooming gangs, voted to restrict/scrap trials by jury, voted for more draconian police powers to suppress protests and freedom of speech and voted to shield Starmer from the Privileges Committee over his appointment of Mandelson as US Ambassador. A noisy list admittedly but a necessary one. Cheers. 🍻

Latest polls (YouGov 27 March - 27 April) show that in Dudley, it's between Labour and Reform in the local elections. To prevent a Reform council fuelled by chaos, instability and division, vote Labour on 7 May. A vote for the Greens or the Lib Dems will only help Reform.

Keir Starmer targets the pro Palestinian marches, declaring that people who use the phrase 'globalise the intifada' are calling for terrorism & should be prosecuted. Starmer is attacking people who oppose the complicity of his govt in Israels genocide. Its that simple

Exc: Keir Starmer set to announce dozens of peerages before the King’s Speech - in a deal to give a quarter of heredities back their spots in the Lords. 15 Tories who lost their hereditary status on Wednesday will return as lifers, along with two Labour peers and around 9 cross-benchers. They’ve had to go through due diligence checks with HOLAC - and may have to take up new titles. thetimes.com/article/e27ea1…

A footnote to your impressive sermon, Rosie: You voted for the Universal Credit/PIP changes that will result in further hardship for people who are disabled and vulnerable. By the way, if your first thought is “how can I use this horrendous act of violence in Golders Green to attack @ZackPolanski?” — the most prominent Jewish politician in Britain, then you’re a complete ghoul and you should be completely ashamed of yourself, if you even feel shame.

Mark Gatiss: "I don't understand the antipathy towards Keir Starmer" The actor – currently starring in a play lampooning fascism – argues that the PM is doing a good job, but from the press he gets "you'd think he was Vlad the Impaler". Listen on the New Society podcast.
