The vault currently is not shutting down. You are correct there is no way to recoup anything if it does. Is there potential? Yes there is potential. As I outlined there are between 60-100 games remaining in the NBA season. Funds were not all invested at once. 2 large trades were placed as both satisfied the requirements for any other game this season or point spread vs time remaining and both times the gap closed and hit the circuit breaker SL so not all funds were lost. Additional buffers need to be in place for playoff games that were not accounted for. I have described to you the options that I feel are the proper ways forward

A post I never wanted to have to make. Going into playoffs I was feeling good about our performance over the last part of the NBA season. We had solid vault returns and it was all humming along. It was not playoff ready. Last night in the Heat vs Hornets game the game took a large swing towards the miami side and it took a large position on the moneyline and they ended up going to overtime. It exits on a SL. Big loss. It then got worse. In overtime it took a Hornets position, which would have been fine, but it also hit a SL when it saw it was improbable for them to score with only 8 seconds remaining. Losses totaled over 65%. There is frankly not enough time remaining in the vault to recover that kind of detrimental loss. The pathway forward. Ive spent nearly the entire night (writing this on no sleep so sorry for rambling) analyzing what went wrong and how to fix it. I just need time. I believe the logic problem of why this happened has now been resolved with additional buffers in both time and points for situations like this. There are roughly between 60-100 games left in the season. I plan to still be involved in every one of them, HOWEVER I understand that these losses may have deterred you from rolling over your positions or infusing new USDC. I understand that completely. Im not done. WKW is not done. Ill continue to build through it, but this is a MAJOR setback in both user confidence, my own confidence, and obviously in operating capital. There are only 2 games that remain inside this vaults active window and then I will be transferring back remaining funds to vault participants early. There will be only 2 vaults open the remainder of the season. One will be 4 weeks and the other roughly 2 weeks pending playoff length. I will not be increasing the limits as much as I had wanted to after the last vaults performance.

@VirtualQuery @0xSmitty @averageandy How do you attract future capital? Is the vault shutting down? Is there potential to make it back? Why were all funds invested at once? What’s wrong with this questions? If the vault does shut down there is no way to earn money back.

@PolyPup @0xSmitty @averageandy No one said anything about being respectful or not. But you seem to not understand the obvious? You put money in a gambling vault. No one deserves to be made whole when the gambling vault made the wrong gamble and ended up losing. Whether this is 1%, 5%, or even 100%.

Are you just looking for drama? I’ve been more than respectful to Andy this entire time. Yes, I had a few questions but no one is pressuring Andy to refund. I’ve been very supportive to him and his protocol for months even before this. If asking a few questions is a crime after providing 60% of the liquidity then I’m guilty.

The amount of retests against resistance is getting wild on AVAX. Some serious consolidation here for months. The next move is going to be a big one, the problem is we need to close over the 9.45 level on the daily and stay there for a day or two to confirm. If that does happen the move should be significant.

one time the devil (soros) himself explained that there are positive feedback loops, and negative feedback loops. positive feedback loops are self-replicating / self-reinforcing.. for example.. Coq, Ket, and other high impact events created a lot of forking.. it reinforced the belief that these were the "metas" to follow. or when people were used to incentive programs not being fully transparent in the past, so now ppl expect some type of abuse.. even if the "abuse" is relatively small.. the outburst, which was already self-reinforced in the past, will be bigger this time. then come negative feedback loops, which mainly are self-correcting.. = ppl scream, next time there is less abuse, we get no abuse.. now the emotional trigger resets. now, everyone is happy again. I think there’s a lot to learn here about managing expectations, and feedback loops.
