Closing out this week marks 4 years at Ava Labs building @coreapp 🥰 Year 4 was the most challenging and also the most rewarding. I officially transitioned into Product Management and am truly so lucky to continue to learn something new every day. Even luckier I still get to be in the trenches with y'all on CT / Discord / everywhere else we chat every day. Could not be more thankful for my @avalabs teammates and @avax community who have always believed in me and have been there to support me each step of the way. Even if it was just to report a bug 😅 I wouldn't be here without y'all 🫶 Onwards to everything year 5 has to offer 🫡

not a dumb question at all 🙏 Avalanche doesn't slash your actual staked AVAX, so your principal's safe. The "slashing" talk is about reward eligibility (validators need to hit uptime targets to earn rewards), not your stake getting cut. So the APY is the reward rate, not something that touches your balance 👍

If @krakenfx is offering a 10% apy, and the current ACP is talking about slashing rewards how does this work sorry this might be a dumb question
