I’m currently working on a public-interest “TASMAC Scam Watch” web app to help citizens report TASMAC-related issues like overcharging, lack of billing, liquor quality concerns, and transparency gaps. Web app: tasmac-scam.vercel.app For this, I’m trying to access publicly available shop wise details from official TASMAC websites: tasmac.co.in
tasmac.tn.gov.in However, both websites have been down for the past few weeks. Requesting the concerned Minister and officials to kindly restore access to these portals, as it would greatly help public transparency and citizen-driven reporting. @TVKVijayHQ @AadhavArjuna @BussyAnand @CTR_Nirmalkumar @imrajmohan

@Vincentsjotting It won’t pass, sir. It will fail miserably. If proper checks are done, it will raise serious questions against many distilleries and breweries. Almost 90% of them may end up getting sealed.

@raavanamavan7 I wondered if somebody would test the variety of cheap liquor sold at TASMAC in topo grade Lab, outside TN and put out the results. Surely, we will be shocked.

@sudalin0426 Yes brother… we have nearly 4800 tasmac in TN but still we don’t have the data of shop wise officially available on TASMAC website.. We still don’t know how many TASMAC are have proper license?.. Which liquor’s are government approved.. if we start to dig, it will go more deeper

@raavanamavan7 Congratulations on your initiative Brother. I wasn’t raising question about the saas but the tasmac authorities who haven’t updated the dataset yet with the shop that I was looking for. I was under the understanding the data seed of your service is from official dataset.

TASMAC Scam Watch started getting visitors.. But only a few users have submitted real report data so far. If you know any shop collecting extra ₹10, please report it, every small input helps build shop-wise visibility across Tamil Nadu. tasmac-scam.vercel.app

@tilak812 I have a huge plan for this application, and I personally love working on it. My goal is simple: government hospitals should be on par with private hospitals. We already have the infrastructure, but we are failing in operations and execution.

@sudalin0426 Hi bro.. i was trying to get all shop details for good user experience. it’s not possible right now.. many shop datas are wrong.. so i fixed this flow right now with manual entry for the shop number..
