An interactive workshop titled “Water, Health, and the Environment: A One Health Approach to Tackling Disease” was conducted on January 23, 2026, at the (@CSIR_IND, @CSIRNIOGoa) CSIR - National Institute of Oceanography, Regional Centre, Kochi.

🌊This study presents the first comprehensive report on the chemical and biochemical characteristics, as well as the benthic diversity, of two seamounts, SMS2 and SMS3, located along the Laccadive Ridge in the Arabian Sea.

Great news! Despite the fridge reaching -1°C, the MinION mk1d seems to be holding its own internally! Check out the flow cell temperature.

The MinION mk1b couldn't handle the cold. Looks like the mk1d might be a better fit for Alaskan soil research at these temperatures!
