The reason I know the net time savings is likely insignificant is, I use LexisAdvance, and by using the right search terms, I'm usually only a few clicks away from what I'm looking for, and Google used to be that. AI saves probably one level of clicking on Lexis.

I have used it to do some complex math for me, bc I suck at math, and that probably saved me a lot of time I would have otherwise have needed to find excel spreadsheet models or something. That'll come up...once a quarter?

I've kinda a/b tested it, and yeah, AI definitely saves me research time, I'd say in a day, about 45 minutes by directing me right to sources. However, the reason I need AI to do that is because search engines (1) got purposely bad; and (2) are glutted with AI-written slop.

Dallas is less a city than a highway system. It is a carcass upon which massive faceless suburbs feed.
If it were in Texas, it would have to be Houston, but I dunno how any of these cities get past Chicago. Everyone else is playing for 5th.

What’s the US’s “fourth” city. NYC, LA, and Atlanta are pretty clearly the top 3 but the 4th is more ambiguous. I feel like the main contenders are probably Dallas, San Francisco/Bay Area, DC, or maybe Chicago

What a morning for Muridjo!
Rather than looking after the babies, our mini matriarch was making a scene in the forest – for no apparent reason. She ran here and there and everywhere, with ears, tail, and trunk aloft, trumpeting along the way. Volume up! We could see no reason for Muridjo’s wily behaviour and agreed that she was just being her old quirky self! She even recruited sensible Taroha to join her mission.
Muridjo has always charted her own path. After the drought left her orphaned, she secreted herself away. She managed to fend for herself for several days, although she was far too young to survive on her own long-term.
