I might be salary but I'm not paid for overtime hours-- I earn comp time instead.

RIP to Spirit. Idc about anyone else’s personal (and elitist) feelings toward the airline. Flying is still public transportation, and travel should not be reserved solely for the privileged.

@jaclyn_bklyn @Jani__Gee I’d offer to pay the utilities for sure. She’ll need a utility bill in her name to prove residency and change of address. Plus, utilities would change because now you have more than one person in the house, but I’m not giving you rent money.

I want to be less accessible and I need to figure out how to start doing that in today’s world. Maybe it’s the older Millennial in me, but I miss the tech-less boundary. The pressure to respond to everything around me, at all times, is too much now.

We’ve developed language and behavioral analysis around people who don’t immediately respond to a text, call, or emails. So what if I saw it, I was doing something else, didn’t feel like it or maybe needed time, you can wait. It’s okay. I’ll get back to you.
