Hey @thotcon folks — remember the last time Thotcon happened? @rarsec and I barely do. But what we do remember is that some folks didn’t bring cables to our “Hacking the Thotcon badge” talk. So, bring a Micro-USB cable with you. We’ll have sample code ready when you get there.

Working on a #altctrl thingy. It's a cube with 6 buttons, utilizing Clement Zheng's mechamagnets button concepts (clementzheng.info/mechamagnets). Inside is/will be a esp32 with a gyo sensor, and inputs for 6 linear hall sensors that will detect the input of each button (cuz magnets)

Another @thotcon badge firmware bug: if you send !firmware to a badge, it send a message to itself with the firmware hash and size, and not to the requester

After traveling all week, I was considering skipping the #thotcon party, but I might have to go just so see if anyone else knows what I did to anger my badge.… instagram.com/p/BxBe8tKHLE0f…

Since I know sign language, I was excited for the back of the #thotcon badges, but I don't think it was relevant to any ctf things. :(
