In a world that feels chaotic, I will bring stability. I will follow the rule of law. While there are real challenges we face in Wisconsin, I will bring stability to our state that will allow us to work together to take them on. My opponent will bring chaos. She is willing to change the law based on her emotions and activism. She lies directly to you on camera by saying she is not a Democrat. On March 5, 2026, the downtown Madison liberal activist paper, the Isthmus, asked her if he was a Democrat, and she replied, “Yes!” — My point is: this world already has too much chaos today. Let’s not bring more into it in Wisconsin. On Tuesday, April 7, will you please get out and vote for me, Judge Maria Lazar? If so, would you please get your friends and community out to do the same? Thank you for your support!

@LynAldenContact @TXMCtrades It's what makes the whole Fraud Czar stuff for Vance ring hollow. We all know that fraud and waste is pervasive throughout every level of government. But if it doesn't mean spending cuts get enacted, it's all for show. We barely got any recissions from DOGE last year.

@JerryPonioWI Yeah I don't know what it is but when I go in for doctor visits I have six people asking the same 10 questions and have to fill out paper forms that have been Xeroxed 1000x and look like something from 1980.

Jeremiah is exactly correct, the Ark of the covenant isn't sitting in a monastery somewhere being guarded by monks. The Jewish Talmud says it was never returned after the Babylonian exile in late 6th century BC; Maimonides says that it could be buried in tunnels Solomon made under the temple mount; 2nd Macc. 2 says Jeremiah hid it at Mt. Nebo; Samaritan tradition says it was buried in Mt. Garizim. And let's be honest, even if it was in an Orthodox Tewahedo church in Ethiopia (which I'm pretty confident it isn't), it wouldn't matter. The Ark was meant to point to and is fully fulfilled in Jesus. If it still physically exists it holds no power or authority than any other ancient box.
Shawn Ryan@ShawnRyan762

A deep dive into the Ark of the Covenant—what it was, where it may have been, and why its significance goes far beyond the mystery of its location—this conversation unpacks the historical and archaeological context surrounding Shiloh, challenges popular claims about the Ark being hidden in Ethiopia, and breaks down why many widely circulated biblical “discoveries” fall into speculation rather than evidence, before shifting into an evidence-based case for the resurrection of Jesus through prophecy, historical accounts, and archaeological support, while also exploring spiritual warfare, including the reality of demons, the nature of evil, and how these ideas are often distorted by modern media. @_jeremiahj

@vanwinklejd @benzornes The incessant need to "get it right" is sucking the soul out of all sports. Life happens and is sometimes unfair. Deal with it and move on.

I disagree. For too many years umps were able to redefine the strike zone. How many times have you heard "it's his strike zone", "As long as he's consistent". No the strike zone is in black and white and it should be the same for every ump. Some umps at the lower levels will call completely unhittable pitches strikes and everyone has to live with it because "it's his strike zone". If they hadn't taken liberties with how far they can push the zone none of this would have happened IMO.

I want to go on record to say that I hate this vehemently. This orients the sport to the tediously precise algorithm, instead of the judgement and skill of the humans playing it, umping it, and watching it.

@ScottAniol Just yesterday we had a moving reading of John 12:12-18 on The Triumphal Entry. Congregation was all-in. But right after this reading the worship band launches into "Goodbye Yesterday" by Elevation Worship, which might be the all-time worst "me" worship song I've ever heard.

Honest question for pastors: When did you first realize that what your church sings on Sunday morning matters as much as what you preach? Or do you still not think it does?

Demand destruction won’t fix this. The world cannot function with 10–15% less energy. We are 15mbpd short of crude & products versus my Feb baseline. If the Red Sea route remains open to the South (VLCCs) and assuming some VIP toll booths treatment (like 20 « Pakistani » vessels), it reduces to 12mbpd in April. Some of the gap is compensated with SPR releases, but with highly uneven results due to location & quality issues. During Covid, when OECD, China, and most major economies briefly shut down (Chinese literally locked people up in their apartments), demand fell by 16.5mbpd at peak, and only for a few weeks. Most demand snapped back within weeks. Demand normalized within months, adjusted for the recession and ex-jet. Gasoline, diesel, & bunker demand are highly inelastic. People don’t stop driving or shipping because prices rise. Jet and naphtha are more elastic, but cannot fix the lack of crude at the refinery level evenly. By April, some governments will learn that reopening the Strait is not optional, and that it takes real resources to do so. That’s when panic begins. This has the potential to become the mother of all crises. Respect it. It’s highly likely to get real awkward. And pay attention to the political blame game that’s already in full swing and isn’t helping. Eventually this crisis gets fixed and yes, the invisible hand of oil is incredibly powerful. But it won’t return to pre-war barrel counting anytime soon and certainly not with policies like this.

@USRoute41 …As anyone who’s been an election judge knows, the process of checking signatures is extremely lax. At least for in-person voting, I never saw anyone turned away because of signature not matching. So yes, the potential (and likely actual) fraud is real.

@USRoute41 But I just got done renting a home in IL. Because of auto mail-in ballots, we received FOUR ballots for former residents that were long gone. I asked an elections official in McHenry Cty what would stop me from voting all the ballots and she said they check signatures…

Hello all! For everyone wondering and asking, Darrell Harrison decided to deactivate his X account this morning. Darrell is one of my closest friends and brothers so I figured I would create a post that would let everyone know why he chose to do it, that way there aren’t any rumors flying around. This is something he has been mulling over and praying through for months. And in the Lord’s sovereignty and providence, he decided to do it last night. He chose to do so to, and I quote, “redeem the time” he has by focusing more on pastoring, teaching, counseling, writing, family, etc. A few things to note. 1. Nothing happened that would make him pull back. Darrell, many in his life, especially his bride and fellow shepherds, pays close attention to his life and teaching as to (by God’s grace) persevere in the things he’s given by our Lord to do (1 Timothy 4:16). 2. @podcast_just isn’t going ANYWHERE! Please join me in praying for Darrell in this decision. Pray that the Lord would sustain him and return to him tenfold in immeasurable fruit as he toils and labors in the workmanship that He has given Darrell to complete for His glory and D’s good! If you have any questions, please drop them below. Thanks. Press on! 👊🏼🙏🏼

The gaslighting is crazy. As a child in the 90s and into 2000s, we were supported and encouraged in every way. Not only were we told we could do anything, but we should do everything. The amount of resources and help for us seemed limitless. It was boys who were belittled, dismissed and put on the back burner. That’s why we have a crisis today.

@mredmond88 @AnnaEconomist Yeah it’s absurd that we’ve had 11 months of tariffs and haven’t completely rebuilt the industrial base of the United States yet. Like, what are we doing here?

@AnnaEconomist What’s the evidence of a tariff boost to manufacture output? A modest rise in primary metals production? Consumer goods output remains remarkably soft *so far* for how protected domestic production is and how much more consumers are paying as a result

We also have been flagging this. The diffusion index signals are corroborated by a very strong signal from the latest earning transcripts. Tariffs probably played a role (shhh…), as well as defense and data centers. Other places showing manufacturing recovery…manufacturing productivity, output production, and even payrolls have bottomed.

@TXMCtrades Have to look at total returns not price returns. That fund is +48% in the last five years. This fund had a massive long term capital gain distribution at the end of 2021.

Got to feel for people who accept their employer target date fund without inquiry. Somebody retiring in 20 years was only up 10% from the 2022 high while the S&P has ripped 45% from that level. All because it avoids the gains to own fucking bonds in a bond bear market.

@ChristianPost I truly wish worship pastors would hear what Tomlin is saying when it comes to picking songs for worship each week. The majority of KLove “worship” music is nothing more than worship of self.

When Chris Tomlin discovered the earliest known Christian hymn, one thing stunned him: the first worship song we have “has nothing to do about us” and is all about the glory of God. He explains why that changes how we think about modern worship and the songs we sing in church today. In an interview in 1974, Richard Wurmbrand, a Romanian pastor once imprisoned for 14 years, shared an important insight on the reason he experienced such intense persecution under Communist leaders: Pat Robertson: "That was your only crime, that you said, I want to bring men to eternal life, tell them they have an immortal soul, tell them about Jesus?" Wurmbrand: "Well, I would not say that this is the only thing. So much they would have allowed. Nothing would have happened to St. John the Baptist if he would have said only, 'Repent. The Kingdom of Heaven is near,' but when he said, 'You, Herod, are bad,' then he was beheaded. Jesus could have delivered hundreds of sermons on the mount and parables. Nothing would have happened to Him, but when He said, 'Woe unto you, hypocrite Pharisees,' then He was lost. And in preaching the Gospel, you have to do two things: to proclaim the Kingdom, but also to denounce sin. And we did this side, and the greatest sin committed in humanity today is Communism, not only that it has killed 60 million people in Red China and 30 million in Russia, but it poisons youth and children with atheism. It uses brainwashing. It puts Christians in psychiatric exams, not only in prisons where simply they break their will and their mind, and they try to subvert the whole world with Communism. So I preached both sides of the Gospel. I denounced the sin, and at the same time, I extended to them the invitation to come to the Kingdom."
