This horror-show at the airports is completely unnecessary. The TSA serves no purpose. Eliminating TSA is far, FAR more valuable to Americans than eliminating Iran. Plus it saves, rather than costs, money. Every year, Americans spend approximately 471 average human lifetimes standing in TSA lines. Even counting the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing -- (241 U.S. military killed) and 1996 Khobar Towers bombing (19 U.S. airmen killed), Iran has not killed that many Americans in the last 40 years -- much less 471 Americans a YEAR.

I've seen lots of posts on Unity and I’ve received questions about my support for Darren's campaign, so let me comment here. I hope many of you saw my final letter where I congratulated Darren there. In a couple of media spots, I have also encouraged those who supported me to support him in ousting Gov. Pritzker. But let me add some clarity. About Unity. I did call Darren to congratulate him Tuesday night, but he did not answer the call. Just in case there was a bad connection, I also texted him immediately with a congratulatory message. I did not receive a response back on Tuesday night and I have yet to hear from Darren. That’s all ok. He doesn’t have to respond to me. If you’ve seen some of the commentary from Tom Devore, they simply may not want to reach out to me. But I do want to set the record straight that I did reach out to Darren. A second comment about the supporters of the Ted for Illinois campaign. I do urge them to support Darren in getting Pritzker out of office. But Darren himself will have to earn the support of many of those voters. Many felt rejected by Darren’s avoidance of the debates and his long absence from Chicagoland, strategic decisions he made. @shonkori Keep in mind Illinois once had 29 electoral votes..in 1940. And Chicago population peaked in 1950. So it's a very long term problem.

if you recently joined the ranks of the unemployed, you might be coming up on the 4 week mark since getting let go. Don't worry. According to the Dept of Labor the average time spent looking for a new job is 8-10 weeks. This is where COBRA and other components factor into how you survive financially. Your state unemployment benefits will cover the cable/ internet & cell phones but you need to work backwards from the 10 week deadline and plan accordingly. Don't pull the trigger right away on COBRA since that comes with a $3000 price tag for a family of 4 and you may need that money. Wait as long as you can since it is retroactive to your departure date. Use that $$ to pay the mortgage and for your LinkedIn premium membership which allows you talk with recruiters and see who's looking at your profile. Don't waste it on ladders or indeed as those are just honey pots that suck you in with ghost roles or roles that no longer exist. And remember what @ScottAdamsSays - work on that talent stack, use systems over goals, flex your personal network and use affirmations like "The Universe owes you." 💪👌
