Whipped up a quick list of GM candidates that I'd like to see the Bulls interview:

1) A Packers guy said 4 teams have called about Lawrence with Chicago being 1 of them. I wouldn't think he'd be incentivized to build up Chicago for no reason. It's enough to discuss it on social media.
2) Dexter Lawrence is one of the best pass rushing DT's of the last 4 seasons. That's not a regular 0/1T. DA wants disrupters on the inside and pocket pushers from the outside. Lawrence is the exception to the rule.

ESPN sources: Giants All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade and he will not be participating in the team’s off-season workout program that opens Tuesday. Lawrence and the Giants have been through two off seasons attempting to negotiate a contract reflecting his value to the Giants over the last three years, but there has not been any progress, per sources.

A very simple, very smart hire for the Bulls would be Timberwolves GM Matt Lloyd. Started his career in Chicago and was there for a decade before the Magic hired him as assistant GM.
Deserves a shot to run a front office. Terrific evaluator, smart human.

Wolves GM Matt Lloyd, who has been in the mix for a few lead front office jobs recently, would make a lot of sense. He got his start in the NBA as a PR intern with the Bulls and worked his way onto the scouting side to start climbing the personnel ladder. Highly thought of.

#Bulls decided to act quickly, just made the firing of Karnisovas and Eversley official.
I suspect the plan is to hand the reins to Donovan, let him keep coaching while having greater say in basketball operations. Similar to Miami when Pat Riley coached and Randy Pfund was GM

Since hiring Karnisovas to head basketball operations in 2020, the Bulls went 224-254, made one playoff appearance, and are now missing the postseason for the fourth straight season. Bulls CEO and president Michael Reinsdorf decided Monday to make a change to the team’s basketball direction.
