A little over a year ago Claude 4 Sonnet was released, and it was revolutionary, even though it struggled HARD on longer tasks as all models from that time
And now we've almost at a point where 'make no mistakes' meme is the reality - the models are that much better

@charlesng116 Audio only stuff, then streaming audio only, then offline video detectors etc etc
There turned out to be much more to worry about than just "make it work"

I get that by all metrics GPT 5.5 seems to be better, but Opus 4.8 turned out to be much better than I ever expected it to be
