But How BULK Works Alongside Solana 📰 @bulktrade Today I'll attempt to shed some light on the concept of BULK, which at first glance was a confusing term for me and explain why BULK cannot exist without Solana. Consider the analogy with a dining establishment: 🍽️ The kitchen is BULK 💳 The cash register is Solana It takes care of all the complicated operations that require high speeds including cooks the dishes, keeps track of timing, performs all necessary actions at great speed. Cash register takes care of only one thing, deals with real money securely. They work together. Not one can replace the other. So, let's take a look at their responsibilities: Solana: ◽️ Storing your cryptocurrencies ◽️ Deposits and withdrawals ◽️ Vault for your assets BULK: ◽️ Fast matching of buyers and sellers ◽️ Maintaining an order book ◽️ Risk management system And now the kicker, they both literally run on one device. For every BULK validator node, there is Solana validator sitting right next to it. On the same hardware, with the same identification, but two different validators performing tasks in parallel. This is, in my opinion, a really clever concept. In fact, Most projects either try to do everything on one chain (slow) or split things across chains with bridges (risky). BULK said why not just put the fast engine right next to the safe vault, on the same machine? Simple. Elegant. No bridges needed.
