For me the series peaked with Dune, I couldn't put it down. I liked Messiah but wasn't blown away. Curious to see if a more focussed re-read changes things. Children and God Emperor I found okay, difficult to get through, maybe I'll re-read if my opinion of Messiah changes.

Small progress today on pieter (dot) com live now: Got a full BIOS working, and it runs the basic MS-DOS commands like EDIT and FORMAT, and added an old CRT screen around it for effect I tried to Format C: my drive and it literally does nuke itself 😂 Also added Jazz Jackrabbit for @pretzelhds, but the idea is not just old games, we wanna have a real PC running on my site with mIRC and Netscape Navigator being able to open pieter(dot)com within itself! Update on networking: It seems JS-DOS only support IPX networking, which is nice for multiplayer games, but we need TCP/IP networking for it, for now I will try to get: - Netscape working - put the Pieter(dot)com HTML in a file and open that as the start page

@jasonleowsg @CleanShot That's what I thought too. But after buying it I find my self using more and more of it's features. E.g. I used to use another software for simple screen grab videos. Now it's all clean shot.

Shopping for a Mac desktop app for high resolution, sharp screenshots.. bonus if it can record high res gifs too Any recos?
