@CoachMarcusHill all of the better players are joining travel teams made up of kids from 3 different counties. Little league has many flaws, but travel ball is not innocent… travel ball practice can’t be much better, go to a tournament and kids don’t even know what fucking base to throw to.

If you think travel baseball is killing little league baseball I encourage you to attend a local little league practice and you’ll see little league baseball is killing little league baseball.

You’re proving my point more than anything. Aja Wilson being the best scorer in the league and barely edging Caitlin Clark in rookie PPG doesn’t mean Clark isn’t one of the best scorers... it actually reinforces that she’s right there with elite company. Clark still ranks in the top 5 all-time in PPG as a rookie and 2nd among player who are still active (only behind Wilson), while also being the primary engine of the offense. The argument was never that she’s the best scorer... it’s that she can score with the best of them. And the numbers clearly back that up.
