@BobGreenburg why the silence on Bill Flanagan giving his kids a home game for the d10 lacrosse championship? D10 policy is clear and yes there is an exigent circumstance clause, but there are no exigent circumstances. This game could be played several places on several dates.

@den_shorts Did anybody watch the game last night? Wemby was the worst defender on the court… he blocks some shots as the secondary defender, but he was bad everywhere else.

As a huge Jokic fan, unfortunately Wemby clears. Hes the most insane player I’ve ever seen. His defense is more impactful than any one players offense. And he’s also really really good on offense.

@BobGreenburg @FrankR2232 There is Nothing in the NFHS rules against celebrating, so the official is out of line if that was indeed the warning. The rule clearly states taunting.

@FrankR2232 Per story AD said, an official did warn all the teams en masse before the 4x400 not to celebrate prematurely.

From multiple accounts he was warned earlier about an action that an official thought was inappropriate. With that said I know Track and Field has strict guidelines towards conduct deemed unsportsmanlike. Does this action meet that standard? Apparently it did. Also I see many bashing the official to make their case…which is ridiculous. I feel awful for the young athlete, but sports is about teaching life lessons so I imagine lessons will be taught from this moment. He can use it as a motivator for the next step of his journey in sports.

@RTNBA Bahaha more physicality…? the referees allow more physicality now than almost any other era. Lower shot clocks don’t mess to more scoring…. Absent stalling, shot clocks lead to less scoring.

Block was a fun underdog a few years ago. But he let the 15 minutes convince himself he's a star of some sort, and that's unfortunate. Im sure hes a nice guy, but doing things like this doesnt help.

@jeremyct That level of price escalation is unusual. I’m dubious. If true, it’s an anomaly and doesn’t represent 95% of boomer experiences. Also, the post makes an assumption that a person is entitled to something without working for it. That argument wont go far in any generation.

🚨BREAKING D10 TRACK AND FIELD TIME CHANGE🚨 Due to forecasted weather conditions for Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 16 the District 10 Committee and tournament personnel have decided to adjust the start times for the D-10 Track-Field AA-AAA Championships at Slippery University of PA. See the attached revised schedule for Saturday's meet. The FIELD events will now start at 9:00 AM and the TRACK events will now start at 9:30 AM. The afternoon forecast is not as promising now, as it was earlier this week.
