The interior of St James Santee built ca 1768 near McClellanville South Carolina. This church is on the original Kings Highway between Charleston and Georgetown which is now a country dirt road since the highway moved a few miles east in the 20th century.

On June 18, 2022, @USNavy christened DDG 122, the USS John Basilone. During WWII, GySgt Basilone received the Medal of Honor for his actions at the Battle of Guadalcanal in 1942, and was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross for his heroism during the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945.
